Ya we see that fairly regularly. It seems to be a result of a VM driver update. We usually delete the newly 'unknown' NIC and add the newer version. If anyone out there has a better explanation or remedy I'd like to hear it too.

Amen to that ! Vip Status / Service Group status / Node status are much needed.
