from my experience Solarwinds doesn't present the same "curent hardware health" widget for iDRACs as it does with iLOs. You'll have to go down the UNDP path and build/leverage someone's template.

I'm having the exact same issue...would love to see a response

Did anyone get a high availability solution to work with NPM? I'm heading down the same path..

Am I correct in thinking if we disable "Windows Integrated Authetication" in IE, and the user supplies his App permitted…

Thanks for the quick reply Petr. The customer has informed me that access to the application is setup in a way where it syncs with LDAP and creates accounts for users that have a valid email address. I know the 7 SEUM users we have are apart of the local admin group, but I'm just trying to figure out what linkage needs to…

Hi Sean, Our Traps table has grown to just about 100 million records. Obviously some work needs to be done on our end to filter out the important versus not so important traps from our various devices. Using DPA, I did see some crazy wait times for any query involving traps/trapvarbinds, which lead me to this point. I'm…

We are setting up WPM for a customer that has a SSO Application that leverages LDAP. During playback of some test transactions, there appears to be credential issues. (Page could not be displayed) I've read some thwack articles on having to use the SolarWinds.SEUM.AgentDomainConfigurationTool.exe executable in order to…

pFrancesenip, On your new sql server did you use a different IP or the same IP as your old sql server? Wondering if that caused any issues for you.

Hi Richard, Were you able to find anything from support regarding the size of your Wireless_Interfaces_DAILY table? I just noticed ours is quite large as well.. Table Name Rows Size in GBS Wireless_Interfaces_DAILY 119814386 34

I work in the federal space and getting access to a domain admin account specifically just for WPM is going to be nearly impossible. Is there a workaround for customers not being able to use domain admin accounts in this process?

Hi mharvey, How long did it take the SQL script to execute the 1st run? Our dbmaintenance log file highlighted the following indexes that need to be De-fragmented manually. I'm interested in how it's working for you currently and how often you usually run this. Thanks in advance!! 2016-09-21 04:52:43,175 [1] WARN…

any idea of how much it cost?

Glad to see the upgrade turned out well for you. Pretty soon I'll have to upgrade everything to 2016 as well. How long did the whole upgrade take you?

I'm not a JD Edwards expert by any means... but I have a customer that implements JD Edwards solutions and was really interested in this. Our customer created a 'admin' account to use similar to 'orion_monitor' user above, and saw in the SAM logs Cannot connect to the server…

Has anyone ran into a situation where the days left to capacity field is returning negative values? I've been monitoring some servers for the past year or so in our Solarwinds instance and noticed this alert gets triggered because the VolumesForecastCapacity.DaysToCapacityAvg field is negative. I noticed the…

Anyone still seeing huge wireless tables in their environment? I scaled back the wireless retention settings from the web console, but the tables still remain the same size..I see this causes a lot of blocking on the sql side, since the table is so large. Additionally, you can use the PYODBC python module to connect to the Solarwinds database, and query IPAM data if you know the schema well. I got it to work without much trouble...

Hi Gangadhar, We are a MSP using Solarwinds as our monitoring tool, and I recently have experienced the same issue that you are seeing.. Any luck on finding an answer on how to limit users from seeing other users events? All the best, Danny

Thanks Adam. After shutting down the WPM service, deleting the existing 7 SEUM accounts, and restarting the service, we were able to get past this. Thx!
