Yep I agree many of my devices get tagged as net-snmp instead of the actual vendor.

Same thing here I think. I have an HP-UX template and need to select multiple values for a graph not just the first.

Would be nice to have so our NOC can handle scheduled maintenance without the ability to delete nodes.

Yeah I would essentially like a reverse UNDP to be able to set/clear alarms on our 800Mhz tower sites. I am able to do this in our legacy HP NNM environment but not in SolarWinds. I know this is possible with the engineers toolset but I would like operators to be to do this in the core product.

They receive the Orion prompt.

When I walk the MIB I am able to see the different processors but only one load entry for the problem servers. This server is running the same OS and has the same SNMPD.conf file but is working correctly.

I am looking to monitor application performance in a Citrix environment. The ability to monitor all available instances of a counter would be ideal.

I would really like to see this functionality makes it's way into SAM. I have several BizTalk server that I want to monitor using a source of "BizTalk Server*". It seem like this would be minimal work and be appreciated by the customer base.

This works just fine on HP-UX 11.23 but not servers running 11.31. I have attached a sample snmpd.conf file for one of the newer servers. It's about as simple as it gets. prmhpu88 /opt/iexpress/net-snmp/etc/snmp # cat snmpd.conf ########################################################################### # # snmpd.conf # #…

Its an existing AD group that I was able to add to Orion. When I have users try logging in they are prompted to enter their credentials(even though I have pass-though enabled) and receive an incorrect username/password message. Members of other groups are are logged on automatically without issue.

Hopefully the extra details help I'm at a loss to why this is not working.

Version 5.6.1.1.001.

I would like to see this as well.

When I list resources on my Unix servers not all of the file systems show up. I am particularly concerned with some of the oracle data directories. These servers use NET-SNMP as their agent and have a very basic configuration. aLTeReGo

Same issue tried to discover 77 specific nodes and imported less than 20. I am able to add device individually without issue.
-
I am having the same issue. I have 5 major switch routers I would like to add for a comprehensive discovery and cannot get this to work.

This is a huge problem and needs to be addressed! My companies HP NNM monitoring relied mostly on trap based alerting. Our NOC needs to be able to see some sort of notification from traps. Automatic actions may not be enough or even required.
