I am having the same issue. Did you resolve it? It is not firewall, because this is also the same database that Orion is using.

This hotfix left me with an unusable system. I have 4 open tickets now and they have been escalated to dev.

Seems to be based on a cookie. Log in on a different machine and you get the pop up again.

We find account limitations very flexible and use them extensively.

I have an idea. If we can select interfaces with more than 3 or 5 (whatever) mac addresses it is more likely these interfaces are uplinks/downlinks/trunks. So reverse the selection and viola But I don't know how to do that. Any expert? :) Good Idea.

I've been much less involved with Thwack as I currently believe that Solarwind's focus is solely on selling more seats. Agree. Every time a new feature, module, app comes out, We all get spammed by sales. The sales team is starting to be like dealing with a car salesman, with promotions, end of month, end of quarter, deal…

Same here. So man many bugs in this release..
-
It will be a daily report for old snapshots and who created them so they can clean them up.

I can't even use it. Case # 1302267 Lot's of wasted screen when it did work. Very slow and cumbersome, and as others have said, very difficult to filter on the things we actually need to filter on.

Moderator, I do not see that this is a verified answer. This just deletes the alerts, and masks the problem rather than fixing it.

I have a stand alone web server that is front ended and SSL off loaded with an F5 BigIP if that matters.

Hi Dfairles-- You'll need to remove the Windows/Linux devices from the left-hand tree in NCM. You can do this by modifying the Win32GUI. HTH, M But I still need all device types for Inventory purposes, so I can't delete items.
-
Thanks for your assistance Rob. I have also asked our sales team to help. So far still nothing from support.
-
Yes, something that needs to be fixed. almost every other NMS can do this, even the cheaper ones.
-
Bumping this: configuration wizard does not take into account the additional web server as well.

AAAG have nothing to do with file groups.

Don't forget to deactivate your licenses before you start.

These sound like many of the issues I experienced with the Cortex DLL bug. The buddy drop fixed all my issues and my system runs better than it has in a long time. Please publish a list of known bugs that we can see. Cisco and others does this with their Bug Tracker. This would help in avoiding the weeks long trouble…

What I am talking about. This is a Linux guest in VMware
-
I have cleared pub/sub so many times I can't count.
-
I have been having this happen a lot with interfaces as well. Started happening after I installed the trial of UDT, then un-installing UDT has totally trashed NPM. Been working with support for weeks.
-
One of the big factors seems to be the number of switches involved as the connectivity for them have to be mapped... Yeah, the number of subnets doesn't matter that much. I am scanning lots and lots of /24 subnets, probably a couple hundred. The real time factor is how many switches are you scanning?
-
Yes, on the F5.
-
Looks like the RC was pulled. Anyone else still have it? What is going on rob.hock?
-
The Infoblox product is very good. I actually like it much better than UDT as it has found many ports IP addresses UDT and has most of the features of NCM as well. You can download a trial from Infoblox.
-
I am not exactly sure when it stopped working. I will try to pinpoint. Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about.
-
Yes, I was.
-
The multi-subnet failover is not an option for me. It requires changing DNS records and currently only supports BIND and MSFT. I hope they add Infoblox support. It has a very good API.
-
OIC, in that case, if you have NCM, why do I have to enter the credentials for NCM and for CLI device polling
