Well we do need to know a little SQL for orion and that's fine, I just haven't dug through the variables to find out what was missing. Or is it actually bit more complicated then when it comes to skipping disabled components?
-
I like this and tested it, but noted that any disabled components do show up, even though the query appears to skip them. Is this something I'm missing?

What are you trying to do kausti2 ? The limitation of HTTP/HTTPS monitors is that they are only checking for a REPLY. They aren't checking what's on the page, etc. This is more like "is a page available and can I reach it/can I authenticate with it". WPM checks actual context on the page.

2019.4 doesn't appear to like this query? fyi mesverrum . Edit: and it works today. No idea ><
-
mesverrum as I'm not as good with SQL as I should be, how can I incorporate selection of a custom property (to display longside the metrics)?
-
Are these scenarios where polling has failed? (test credentials?)
-
Your screenshot is showing success with a community string (read-only) The information your are suggesting is a r/w community string. The screenshot is implying you did not set it up as a read-write string, but as a read only SNMP community.

Integrate with other solarwinds products would seem to be top of the list.

What about Netapp hardware health? I saw a few other vendors, is Netapp in the works too, mbussey ?
-
bshopp my folks are legit edge of their seats for this, and we upped our citrix staff size. We hope to be able to leverage WPM to test it. Would love to be able to show them what's coming.
-
linthomas1 when a PM changes on a product, that pretty much guarantees a new direction and tends to move things forward at an accelerated pace. With bshopp on board fairly recently, he obviously got to pick up where it left off. This was previously with stevenwhunt . Trust me when I say this, a lot of our concerns are…
-
bshopp maaaaan, does this mean a beta is in the works? 0_0
-
ooooooo
-
Oh! I had something like this with an angular based website once that WPM didn't handle. An option was have to do XY input with manual entry, and add a wait on every step of XY. That can work some of the time, FYI.
-
keithjen I'm a little confused - I would think you can do that in a few ways today, is this an application? Why not have the application spit out something that contains the word error when there does happen to be an error? That way you aren't "waiting" for the not text to appear. So instead of waiting for function, watch…

tagging mrs.alterego for this one. Maybe she can provide some general estimates as to where things sit, with respect to what you are able to say? Are we looking at a major WPM 2016 release, Q1 2017, etc? Is priority in the order of the features listed in this request? I like WPM and desire to use it on my current job as…

This is a nice idea. I wonder what patrick.hubbard thinks about the possibility of someone going full google charts for a solarwinds view page?
-
adatole - as others have mentioned, the link to monitoring 201 is just redirecting to solarwinds.com (not the ebook download/reg page)

CourtesyIT add to list for netpath
-
KMSigma did you realize how magical this is? This works for EVERY netpath. All I had to do was change 1 line. You genius, you. WHERE [SA].ServiceName <strong>IS NOT NULL</strong> -- This is the NetPath Service Name as displayed on your NetPath summary page
-
cwhall I happened to try yours with all settings as above but no data. Hmm.
-
Well, you know what Ricky Bobby says about that
-
Congrats to the new, welcome back to the recurring! Good times ahead!
-
I don't know how this was missed but this is a pretty good programmatic idea. Bumping so maybe it can get some attention again.
-
I'd recommend you call in a ticket to get support ASAP in case this is a further issue. Run diagnostics and go from there. There are a lot of possibilities but if you're paying for support you may as well use it.
-
I think *maybe* I understand uniswtc? You need to have a single item be the "head parent", otherwise the rest doesn't get suppressed. So it has to be parent (1 object)-> child (many). The object can be a group or a node or whatever, but until that parent is down the child won't suppress alerts. That's a dependency thing.…

Reports are flexible, so johnthemonkey can you give us more details on what you're looking for?
-
malasherv What do you see from settings -> polling engines? I'm asking for all of the metrics you see on that page from "polling completion" down to "total job weight", as well as "last database sync". All of that data should be provided here and then people can instantly tell you if you've overloaded your server, etc.…
-
What about another possibility: has SNMP been configured on the servers itself to accept the string you're using?
-
Are you missing a dll for VC80? I see some information from Microsoft (as opposed to Solarwinds) for this one. Google result: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2643995
