"VoIP IPSLA operation allows user to" Yeah, someone may need to work on their grammar a bit.

Morning bump! #qol #bumpsquad assemble!
-
eh these days you can do minority report with a Leap Motion Controller P.S. @"KMSigma.SWI" @"kpina" @"ChrystalT" - put one of these in a THWACK contest again!
-
The banking article is a bit clickbaity. "Banks are totally going to move to cloud!" end of article: "Less than 10% of applications are being used in the cloud, expect any move to be gradual" Considering that my wife and I both work for different banks in the IT sector, I can say with relative confidence that is unlikely…

Almost any report can be exported as XLS, deantoland and tony.johnson . Just add &dataformat=xls or &dataformat=CSV at the end of the URL.
-
That's actually pretty cool
-
rhrohde you can do that from the manage nodes page.
-
I fear for the postponed upgrade that simply never happens due to negligence, other priorities, etc.
-
I'd love to see patrick.hubbard sell that as a solarwinds service to upper management. Or Cookies for UX/a cookie for your time! kbongi
-
Bumping; this type of integration is something we're going to need to look into.
-
KMSigma gave us this gem a while back. NetPath Custom Query Widget - it's a great start, and goes hand in hand with the new maps.
-
I'm told my corp is buying solidfire, so it'd be nice to be able to actually put this into Orion.
-
I think the advantage here is that everyone knows chewbacca. That pretty much seals the deal
-
cobrien is there a way to do this?
-
alexslv reminder; I'd still like a small peek into your brain for how you do this. We can all benefit from being smarter sysadmins.

DanielleH As an interesting concept for future, is it possible to have some sort of "Thwack Contest Tracker" so that people can see their own progress on any particular contest? Maybe something as simple as : Day ($value): Completed? (boolean response) showing people their own username's reply, as a database/array - of…

What you posted is exactly what I expected on this one, and the ability to pivot this data between nodes has already been referenced by aLTeReGo as something they want to address (no timelines, not even mentioned as part of RC/etc either)
-
This was part of what I was pushing for with , although I should have spelled it out. More people with the same idea serena !
-
let it go a while, but might be time to recert. hmm.
-
I could see this being improved to function similarly to how alerts do, where you can see what would be changed before submitting the change. Instead of a checkbox of "automate all dependencies", either making it look like the scheduled discovery results page (to see dependency changes) or like the last page of alerts…
-
The best I can ever do for the "IT seagull" concept is to remind people that complaining doesn't go anywhere but if you at least have suggestions for improvement you can at least try to improve things and make some suggestions. Something I tend to remind the current IT seagull I deal with regularly.

I see this all the time and must say it's amazing. I get it from a business standpoint - the more complicated your licensing is, the more you can charge for it (even if that has no correlation to actual value). Yet, I think a lot of companies aren't willing to consider just how much complicated licensing can completely 180…
-
we have our non-mvp chat, open to all solarwinds people as well
-
yeah I think we owe people some heat because this may as well be called SWUG Midwest (which is totally okay by me) not SWUG Chicago.
-
2019 bump, this would be awesome for map integration into new maps!
-
Here it is. Netscaler polling – Solarwinds API Edition - bmoline, marcrobinson, ibageek . Kudos to KMSigma for always reminding me how to tweak these better serena this might be about 75% of the way to "completed netscaler polling". Just make this native instead of API and done!
-
Right, and even if it's restricted to similar vendors or something would be fine. I would still consider that a benefit to not necessarily have to go through discovery.
-
let's hope it's not like that, Thwack is pretty much what makes Solarwinds what it is
-
boy do I miss the swug days. Maybe again soon enough! haha
-
100% humor, I wouldn't disagree with you
