let us run the upgrades, remove DPA and see if the issue will be solved or not. I will let you know of the outcomes once upgrade has been done.

We don't monitor anything with DPA integration module, its not even integrated. it was installed automatically with other modules(SAM I think)

DPA trial expired. we don't use it. unless if some parts of DPA are being used by other modules: such as SAM. If not, we might have to remove it completely 

we ddint submit a ticket on this issue. we are also planning to upgrade to NPM 12 by next week and also upgrade other modules as well. hopefully we wont include DPA in our upgrade. but if we still encounter this issue we will submit a ticket immediately. I actually wanted to know which dpa do I install, because I saw dpa for sql and others, because the KB doesn't say. but I downloaded dpa for sql and I will try to fix it tomorrow.

Well Shane, we didn't buy DPA module. it was just installed automatically the time we were installing other 6 modules(SAM,NTA,NPM,NCM & VNQM), so if its the one causing this active alert issue, is it advisable to uninstall it from the server? or some other fuctionalility of DPA is needed by other modules?

I think are my servers. but one of them should be WSUS/PM. I will try to track down those serials. *One more question., is there any additional setting I should configure in order to install updates on my client machines/servers? they also fail. I thought it needed some configuration maybe on client side.

my issue was solved, it was a windows related problem. I had to change the Remote UAC LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy registry setting

but this problem only arises after an upgrade, the previous versions(npm 11.5.2, sam 6.2.1 etc) were running smoothly. NB: reports gets generated and sent to intended recipient, but on orion it gives an error.

No.. they were trials which then expired, and I uninstalled them
