I'm connected to the internet. this is the page I receive when I try to upgrade the license.
-
I did a remapping of the credentials but without success. I've just added the VCenter client and I'm now receiving all the data through this client. Any reason why I don't receive the VM information anymore through the ESX servers ?
-
It are 4.1.0 ESX servers Keep in mind that they were successfully monitored before the upgrade !

I know that it can be configured when you have the correct IOS, but which commands do i need to set or is IP SLA responder the only necessray command ? )
-
I assume that at a certain point you get a login prompt to configure your cisco device ? Because I don't have a clue how the installation procedure will be able to access our password protected routers to make the necessary changes
-
I've read it and checked everything on NPM which is as suggested in the thread. Could it be that the VMware ESX server's SNMP configuration should be adapted to view evrything ?
-
What you didn't mention is that by default this chart isn't available in the node view and you need to add this to the view. I'm now able to create multiple UDNP charts.

You can do this today. You need to write a SQL Script to update the Applications and Service Ports. For all of the unmonitored ports, name it with port number. You'll be monitoring 65k+ ports. One consequence of this strategy is that you will not discard any traffic, which may impact your storage requirements. What will…

I've just discovered that the notes-mib V6 has the correct subtrees. notes-mib V1 doesn't have these subtrees I need to monitor. Would it be possible to add the notes-mib V6 to the mib database ?

Ignore the port change from 80 to 17777. I changed it back to 80 and now I get a new error System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at ClassicSiteProxy.FetchPage(HttpContext context, String pathAndQuery, Boolean allowPostThrough,…

thnx for the information, but i have an additional question. How am I able to setup this monitoring to be an incremental view on a daily basis ? I have no clue what to use in the Mib poller properties Rate ? Counter ? unit ? timeframe ? What's the exact explanation for these properties, it's nowwhere explained at all.

Really no responses on this topic, come on guru's, show me some argumentation here

I'm currently digging into the MIBs but everyone will know that there are millions of parameters you can readout and it just taht this will take a while. I was hoping that other users already have a useful list of parameters they readout.

mm thank you for the link but I don't find any useful information in it. Currently I monitor the basics from our devices like the %utilization, CPU load, memory load, errors. These are the standard grpahs you can make in Solarwinds. I just want to add more useful information, like temperature, voltage, QOS, number of VOIP…

I've had the same issue and got a response from Solarwinds support with a solution You will need to login to the Orion Server, - Go to the Report writer. - Choose and edit those reports which are not displaying incorrectly on the web console. - On the "General" tab, uncheck "Group historical data by days" - Save the report…
-
Is there really nobody with any experience concerning this issue ?
-
I'm receiving information again from my VMware servers, but I'm awaiting the response of our Virtual system engineer for the solution he provided
-
thanks, Is there some freeware tool where I can see the full OID with ?

I also had a problem with the syslog service. I wasn't able to start it inside the services control panel of windows. I always got the error: The SolarWinds Syslog Service service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. After using…

I've just received the checkpoint template, I was also interested in a template for Checkpoint. We are now using Securetrack ( Tufin ) for Checkpoint audits and analysis.
-
Solarwinds acknowledged this issue and solved it by providing me a new realease of the NPM software. Thumbs up.

I think the question is somewhat misleading ? I'm able to log on without any problems ( don't care at the moment if I use pass-trhu or not ) but after some time approx 1 day or so I get the logon page back and need to relogon. The session is not changed during the day.
