I get that too. "You work in IT why does my GIS system not work?". I point out that I work in Networking but I just get a look that says "So are you going to fix it or not".

I've always looked to learn more. getting time to do official training is getting harder - never seems to be enough time in the day to get the normal day job done never mind the training to take you to the next level or just to keep up.

Would it be possible to use a Custom Property field. Rather than the SNMP Location field. we monitor Customer equipment which we cannot easily change the SNMP Location fields for but a custom property field is completely under our control and can be set to the format required by Mapquest if necessary.
