thanks for the article. been asked a few strange questions over the years and I'm sure I was been brought in for interview on one occasion just to give the interviewer some practice.

It used to be that the help desk was the interface between the user and the technician. Nowadays this is no longer the case and the technician needs to be able to be able to communicate with and listen to the user in order to resolve their issues. Listening properly is probably more important.

Heard there was an article by the person who originally advocated strong passwords. Basically saying he was wrong and now suggesting password management apps such as keepass etc rather than single sign on.

with the introduction of faster release updates there is also the possibility of faster bug introduction. There needs to be a level of control over patch updates. Development/test and QA systems do not always catch the bugs that become apparent once the system is used in earnest. Stability is also necessary if you don't…

The NHS also need to be wary of UK data protection laws and the European GDPR. Geolocation will need to be specified to keep the data within the UK and the data will easily identify an individual.
