I, too find this a little clunky. You shouldnt have to go into the unmanage utility to schedule these. A simple calendar/time object would do the trick, or just emulate the alert schedule tab in advanced alert manager. thanks! Dave

The option that WILL work every time in my experience is skipping optimization on all components and then running config wizard on the website at the end. A good example of this would be services that are automatic, but delayed start. I agree it would be nice to have a mechanism to monitor these.

I think what you want to remove is the name of the datasource. Edit the datasource, remove the name and put a <space> in there. It will not accept a blank. That may be what you're seeing. Dave Burton Loop1 Systems

Kicks, Unfortunately, SW doesn't share their schema, which is one of the reasons direct deletes in SQL is kind of a last resort. Unless you are strapped for element count/licenses, I would not do the delete, but rather edit out your view objects and alerts with VolumeType = 'Fixed Disk'. Hope this helps! Dave Loop1 Systems

Nowell, NTA has 4662 defined as OrbitNet. That may be something to research as well. I can't find any correspondence on EDonkey on the Solarwinds KB. Tomiannelli, Thx for the specific cmd.exe result. I did see that. However, when you look at the out of the box alert for SW, the AND operation that must be satisfied is that the last result (which is not the cmd.exe) must not be illegal operation. Thoughts?
