Hmm; we upgraded to 2026.2 RC today which turned these on, and they all flipped to warning (lot of notifications) Last value shows "2" on both:

And for the love of the FSM, fix it so that AppInsight for SQL doesn't have constant complaints about the Orion databases.
-
I know what answer today's question wanted, but part of me wants to be pedantic about the fact that one of the options listed doesn't exist.
-
First. Uploaded screenshots already.
-
Yeah, I think my wife would steal it. Although, would go brilliantly with Lego Dimensions...
-
I had to chuckle at the answer about the ISS pool being hung up; I didn't know there was a pool on the space station.
-
I call shenanigans on today's question, especially as what it says after the correct/incorrect doesn't jibe with the question or answers.
-
Question; when do we find out who won the shortcut prizes?
-
I hate to do things to decrease my odds of winning, but you can sign up for an Azure trial account; good for 30 days or $200. Just requires an email address.
-
Just waiting for it to appear in the portal.

When I looked at the question again today, it was obvious, but it was a true/false. When I answered it though I'd have sworn it was a multiple choice. Bizarre.

I wonder how much of what everyone is looking for here can be satisfied by the Views in the database? In general, making use of views for reporting/queries/etc, is preferred over looking at the tables directly. SCCM/ConfigMgr is a big user of that; essentially the views are "public" with few (if any) breaking changes…
-
Yes, but R2 wasn't a contestant.
-
One nitpick on the info in the post: AppInsight for Exchange uses PowerShell to collect virtually all information from the Exchange server. As such, PowerShell 2.0 must be installed on the local Orion server or Additional Poller that the node is assigned to. PowerShell 2.0 must also be installed on the Exchange Server…

I am such a person. Since this product is part of SCCM, it uses the same database as config mgr.
-
Are there any plans to allow AD single signon without the dependency on ADFS? Part of the issue with that for us is that ADFS is not supported on Server Core.
-
WHEEL OF PLAGUES! Or best Pandemic. Classic is really popular, but Pandemic Cthulu is pretty awesome.
-
Dangit; had the right info but mis-read the stuff around spaces & apostrophes.
-
Anyone else notice that "question" is mis-spelled each day?
-
I'm wagering IIS would be one.
-
An interesting idea although I can think of a few complications to deal with: - AD integrated zones; these would be really tricky to deal with (especially for a restore) - Dynamic entries might be sticky for restore especially maintaining security/ACL on the records.
-
Yeah, I'm calling bogus on today's question.

-
W00t! Any NPM version requirement?
-
Configuring account lockout policies on the user account source (LDAP, AD, etc) would largely solve this issue and should be in place anyway. Plus I think if you required users to deal with CAPTCHA to submit a helpdesk ticket you'd have unhappy users fast.

What we did was make the tech account of the person who would act as administrator an administrator. Then we disabled the tech account for the built-in admin and freed up that license.
-
I had a bit of eye-roll with number 4; my first guess for that game was like 7 years older.

a bit of flowetry from eons ago (no idea on source/attribution): Three servers for the admins under the influence of rye, Seven routers for the network techs in their halls of stone Nine workstations for mortal lusers doomed to die One NT box from the dark lord on his throne in the land of Redmond where the shadows lie

Any bonus points for copious SolarWinds art?
-
Yep; Windows 10 is not a supported OS for the application server per the docs.
