  • I've had duplicate nodes on accident before. Perhaps you could force the issue of a duplicate node and then unmanage (with an ending date as many years/ decades out as you like) the original node.

  • If trap exists for this, that would be ideal. If ecfrs can supply vendor SNMP info or can SNMPwalk the device, it may be that there is a MIB for the standby/ active role.
