Hi Passing Stranger, Unfortunately, the EoS feature doesn't support HP at all and Juniper only a little in NCM 7.2. This feature works regardless of Internet connectivity. Regards, Jiri

Hi John Spanitz Could you please explicitly describe the condition that would mean violation? It's not fully clear to me. E.g. if this and this line of the output don't match, it's a problem. Regards, Jiri

Hi Jon, The commands you want to give to the device must be within a CLI statement. However you must concatenate the two strings outside the statement. The piece of code could look like string @mymap = 'PMAP_CIRCUIT_' + @throughput + 'MB-E' CLI { policy-map @mymap class class-default shape average @throughput m…

Hi, You can not use ssh1 but you can't forbid using ssh1 with NCM. You can post a feature request, if you want. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi, This question seems unrelated to NCM -- are you asking about NPM or NTA? Regards, Jiri
-
Hi JDP, From dev: The MIB used is CISCO-VLAN-MEMBERSHIP-MIB; hence, only Cisco devices are supported here. Regards, Jiri

Eric, I recommend updating inventory first -- have you done it? Regards, Jiri

We have found a solution offline. Here is an example. Imagine you want to backup files /etc/snmp/file1.conf and /etc/ssh/file2.conf. FYI: Steps: * (Optional) Delete all previously downloaded configs for the linux box (to have things in order). * Add the files you want to backup as ConfigTypes in the Win32 application – see…

Hi tonyrat, Uninstalling NCM itself shouldn't be a problem; however there will be some data left in the DB. One possibility could be installing NCM on a separate machine and take a look at the integration with NPM in our online demo: http://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/Orion/SummaryView.aspx?ViewID=119 Regards, Jiri

We will contact you offline. Jiri

Hi, When you (re)install NCM, there are two configuration wizards: one for NCM and one for the platform. Your screenshot shows the platform (Orion) config wizard. Therefore, the right database is 'SolarWindsOrion'. Free feel to ask if you still have issues with the installaiton. Regards, Jiri

Yes, I definitely plan to update the What We Are Working On post soon. As I want to only list features that have realistic chance of making it into the release, I need to wait for engineering to finish a few more pieces of research. It should not take long.

Hi, NCM currently cannot let you decide based on configuration text. There are Config Change templates that have conditoinals, loops etc and you can use various conditions, but not based on configuration data. Regards, Jiri

Hi, What exactly do you mean by adding the MIBs to Solarwinds? What product are you talking about? Thanks, Jiri
