Hi, Yes, we are definitely looking at various possibilities to take more data into account in order to eliminate false positives. Per our policy, I can't share a lot of details, but once we have something, I'll definitely ask you for feedback. Regards, Jiri

Sohail, Could you please be more specific? Could you describe e.g. some use cases? Thanks, Jiri

Mike, What you describe (connecting via a jump-box) is a feature request. Not possible with NCM now. Regards, Jiri

Hi bluefunelemental, I'm afraid there's no such possibility. Regards, Jiri

Hi Terrence, I'd like to understand your use case better. You want to be notified for both events startup and running config change in real-time, or you just need accurate running vs. startup conflict report? Regards, Jiri

Hi, When you change SQL server, you must re-run the configuration wizard. As far as I know, that means NPM services will be restarted. Regards, Jiri

Hi, NCM 7.4 no longer includes the desktop client; the "Configs" tab should, however, be present in your Orion Web. Jiri

-
Hi Scott, I suggest that you first try to backup the config manually, i.e. select the node and download it, not using the scheduled job. If there are problems, enable session tracing (File->Settings) and have a look at that. Regards, Jiri

Hi, I consulted the problem with our engineering team and they suggest opening a support ticket with the following information: * Exported compliance report with the above rule inside. Hi Danny, I have two different suggestions: * Use a PreCommand or exploit the reset command to switch to CLI using "option 5". (I.e. use one of these commands to mimic choosing option 5 and the rest of the commands in the template will use normal CLI commands.) * Modify the template to reflect the menu-based nature of the…

Hi dcalkins0924, If you use NCM 7.3.x, restarting Orion services should remove these pending transactions. It is, of course, important to find out why that problem happened. You might try to play with one device at a time only. Regards, Jiri

Hi Vin, The syntax of regular expressions used by NCM is described in Appendix B of NCM Admin Guide. Regards, Jiri

Hi bushstar, How many devices / ports do you want to monitor? UDT must poll all the entities which may generate a considerable amount of network traffic. But if you want the information available, the polling must happen. Have you considered dividing your network into more VLANs? E.g. traffic VLAN, O&M (service) VLAN etc.…
