Hi Susan, I'm not sure which older version you mean. In NCM 7.1 you can control the number of lines before and after the change that will be included in the report: Web UI -> Settings -> NCM Settings -> Config Settings Regards, Jiri

Hi, Could you please post the whole template you are using? Regards, Jiri

Hi Scott, Do the switches have CLI? If yes, could you please post commands that you use to download config manually? (I.e. login with telnet/ssh and run some command.) If the CLI does paging, I will also need the command to disable paging. Then I could help you create the device template. Regards, Jiri

Hi ayseaf, Does the problem still occur? Regards, Jiri

Hi mrchesnutt, I don't know what licenses you own, but your question suggest that you have additional pollers. If you do, you can use them as NCM additional pollers, too. We can discuss your options if you share more details. Regards, Jiri

Hi, I'm not sure if i understand the request. The syslog protocol itself doesn't support MAC address info (see e.g. RFC 5424 - The Syslog Protocol). And the software can't figure it out even from network traffic as source MAC address changes with each hop. Regards, Jiri

Paul, The situation you describe is by design in NCM 7.3.x. In this version, NCM actions are taken on the same poller as NPM actions. I.e. you can no longer tell NCM to perform all actions from the main poller. The fact, that reports are generated for each NCM poller separately, is a known problem by design; we will adress…

Hi leinhard, This is interesting. Could you please describe the use case a little bit more? Why would you use a file as input to the config change script? Thanks, Jiri

Hi dnewman, What is the command to show the config? And how do you disable pagination for that device? Regards, Jiri

Hi Larry (?), I'd like to know more details about your wish. Let me rephrase it: You run the same compliance report for multiple devices. Obviously, different devices support different configuration items. What you would like to have is: either certain configuration item/command/element is present and then must be…

Hi, Config change templates (and NCM scripting in general) don't have a possibility to parse the output of commands. Regards, Jiri

Hi, The Kiwi Web Access (KWA) encrypts the password before sending it to the server. That is the reason, why you see the password length gets increased. Our engineering team advises to reinstall the KWA with new user name and password. (You can get the KWA setup from KSS application folder\Setup.) Then use that user name…

Hi ttl, You are correct. NPM is only down briefly (during NCM installation/config wizard). During the data migration, NPM is fully operational. Regards, Jiri

Hi sojoudian, It might help if you add the following line to the device template for MikroTik: <Command Name="CustomUserNamePrompt" Value="user :"/> If that doesn't help, I suggest opening a support case. Regards, Jiri
