Hi, I can see similar outpu even if the login works. Have you checked the enable password? Can you connect to the ASA from the same server where NCM is installed? ASAs can be tricky (ACLs) to connect to. Jiri

Hi mezdem, It looks like you are asking about Netflow (NTA) 4.x but referring to NCM 7.2. Maybe could you clarify a bit? Thanks, Jiri

Thanks, that will be helpful! Jiri

Hi alexmunte; The downloaded device config is stored in the database -- the MS SQL Server. Additionally, a copy may be stored in Config Archive directory; the exact path can be found in Settings -> NCM Settings -> Config Archive Folder Locations. Regards, Jiri

I have moved your question to the NPM forum where you get an answer more likely. In the meantime, could you perhaps add more background? Screenshots? Thanks, Jiri

Hi betspi, Please first check whether the new custom properties have been added to NCM -- check node details in NCM Win32 app. If the property does not appear there, check NCM version. If lower than 7.0.2 then we suggest to upgrade to 7.0.2 and use Node Sync. Regards, Jiri

Hi Simon, Could you please share more details? I don't see how this problem is connected with NCM, as a starting point. Regards, Jiri
-
To begin with, what version of NCM are you talking about? Jiri
-
Hi, You should install NCM additional polling engine to all machines with NPM additional polling engines. Regards, Jiri

Hi rarnold23, You can find out more details by enabling session tracing: Settings -> NCM Settings -> Advanced settings. (Turn session tracing off once you finish investigation.) If you can't identify the problem, I recommend opening a support case. Regards, Jiri

Hi storniga, A range of IP Addresses under a subnet may be managed by two DHCP servers. There are cases wherein a part of an IP Address range under one DHCP server would be managed by another DHCP server. In both instances, there is an overlap in scopes between two DHCP servers. Jiri

Hi briancartledge, No, that is not possible. That would be a feature request. Regards, Jiri

Hi Aaron Denning, Windows Server 2012 R2 is currently not supported by NCM, but we are working on it. Nonetheless, thanks for the info, our engineering team will definitely take a look at it. Regards, Jiri

Hi lalibertei, NCM would be able to do something slightly different: configure all interfaces with something like "switchport voice vlan 450" (whether they have voice vlan 420 or not). If this is acceptable, I can provide the details. Regards, Jiri

Holger, Audit config transfer items is something we are working on: What We Are Working On For NCM After 7.3 This is available in NCM 7.4 Beta: Network Configuration Manager v7.4 Beta2 is Available! Regards, Jiri

Hi Tom, * You can't loop through the conigurations of a node. If you need to check wheter certain text exists in the config, please take a look at Compliance Reports. * I'm not sure what your use case is, but you can work around it by e.g. using a string with "Yes" and "No" values. Feel free to ask further questions.…

Hi, Could you please provide more details? Ideally also screenshots. Thanks, Jiri

Hi Al, I don't think there's a reasonable upgrade path. Install CatTools from scratch. The current version is 3.10. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi, I'm not sure whether I fully understand your requirement. Looking at the Node Details, you have the possibility to save a script locally and then execute it using the appropritate resource. Could you please describe what extension you would like to have? Thanks, Jiri
-
Hi, Could you please send the log file? By default it's here: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\NCMSAConnector\NCMSAConnector.txt. Jiri

Hi, Please feel free to create a feature request here: Storage Manager (Storage Profiler) Feature Requests . Jiri

Hi, No, NCM currently doesn't audit settings changes. However if each user is given a unique Orion account, you may be able to narrow down the set of suspects. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi Steven, Maybe it would be sufficient to just disable some NCM views in User Account Settings and assign appropriate NCM role, of course. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi jakinne, You may have received the answer from our support already -- the only workaroud is using upper case, i.e. string @command1 = 'copy tftp://1.1.1.1/Telecom/file1 flash:/Telecom/file1' Of course that will only work if the command / file system is not case sensitive. Regards, Jiri
-
Looks like it would be a feature request. unless you figured it out. Jiri
-
Debbi, We know about this proble already. Please open a support ticket and we will help you. Thanks, Jiri
