Hi, Please log a support ticket. It might be a bug. Regards, Jiri

Hi tigger2, Is your original issue resolved? Sorry, it's not clear to me from your self-reply if you are satisfied with what you found. Thanks, Jiri

Hi shawn_b, Please see SolarWinds NCM 7.3 Release Candidate is Coming! that includes the feature "Admins can clear all transfers for all users from the Transfer Status resource" that you need. What NCM version are you running? Regards, Jiri

FYI:

Hi , We don't have any list of supported devices; NCM ability to support devices is very flexible using the mechanism of device templates and we can support almost any device having CLI. If the device template you need doesn't come with NCM out-of-the-box, there's a good chance that you will find it on thwack. If not, we…

Acy, Thanks for excellent help as always! Jiri

In fact, if you need to execute the same script on all nodes regularly, there's no reason to use config change templates. You can create a scheduled job ("Jobs" menu) and insert the commands directly. Jiri

Hi, Has the problem been resolved? If not, please define the value of the RESET command. Usually, that command is used to disable pagination. In case your devices don't have such command, please fill in at least some command (may be invalid). This is a known issue. Regards, Jiri

This query tell you which protocol is used by NCM to access the node. Wasn't deverts' question more general, i.e. which devices have telnet enabled in the configuration? That would lead to compliance reports. Jiri

Hi fabrice.d, That's an excellent contribution for the whole community! Thanks a lot. Jiri

NCM currently doesn't support FTP transfers, so this is not possible. You can use TFTP or SCP. Jiri
-
bene, Thanks for a great deal of helpful info. I'd just add that you can also use SCP instead of TFTP if you want. (And if the device supports that, of course.) Regards, Jiri

After you check the above tips (very good, BTW), you can also troubleshoot using session tracing. Depending on your NCM version, you enable it either in Win32 GUI (File->Settings->Advanced, NCM 7.0.x and below) or Web UI (Settings->NCM Settings->Advanced Settings, NCM 7.1 and newer). The session trace can be found in…

Hi , Sorry for the delay. We have been tracking this item as #13018 and the implementation will be considered in future releases. Regards, Jiri

Hi, you can suppress the line numbers in the following way (this is for Web console, similar steps in Win32 application): * Click on the config you want to download, e.g. * Click EDIT * Uncheck the "Line Numbers" * Result

Dave, Maybe the most efficient way to resolve this issue would be working with your SolarWinds sales reps. They can organize troubleshooting etc. Jiri

Hi, It's currently not possible to run a script only on devices that have conflict between startup and running config. Regards, Jiri

Hi orionfan, Let's continue the discussion in the other thread: Trying to download configs for Brocade 7800 switches using SCP on NCM 6.0 Regards, Jiri

Believe me it's equally frustrating for us at SolarWinds. We have been escalating cases like yours with Cisco for several months without much success. They haven't been able to resolve or even identify the root cause. Jiri

antw12000 Can you please send me your CCO ID and address that you use in a private message? I can ask Cisco to double-check your account. It seems they have some internal issues with the Smart Net service and haven't found the root cause yet. Jiri

Hi, Have you gone through the following procedure step by step? Self-Service Onboarding - Get Access To Smart Net Total Care Portal | Smart Net Total Care | Cisco Support Community | 4… Jiri

I'm very glad to hear that. Jiri

dclick, Various marketing campaigns associated with this tool have been put on hold until these issues are resolved. We have asked Cisco to check a few CCO IDs of those who reported the "UserID is not valid" error and all of them had various issues with their Smart Net subscription. The piece of the puzzle that we are…

One more point -- this tool requires NCM 7.4. Jiri
-
Can you please send me offline your CCO ID and the log file: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\NCMSAConnector\NCMSAConnector.txt? We will investigate together with Cisco. Jiri

Hi, The tool requires direct Internet access. It looks like you have a proxy. Unfortunately, the tool can't work in this situation. Jiri
