Hi orionshark, This job is active after a fresh installation of NCM, but will likely be disabled after an upgrade. (Depends on more conditions.) Regards, Jiri
-
Thanks for feedback. I've taken a note and we will look at it in the next release (no commitment).

Hi Parveez, Please post your questions here. Regards, Jiri
-
Patrick, I can get more details if you give me the case #. Regards, Jiri
-
What kind of devices are that? It could help others with the same problem. Lab on device templates is a good idea. Thanks, Jiri
-
Do you mean integration between SRM and STM? As Lubo said, STM (SRM Profiler) is an independent module and can be upgraded on its own. Jiri
-
I admit I don't remember the details, but this looks like a simple script (potentially run by NCM scheduled job). Jiri

Hi tolinrome, I think the most efficient way would be opening a support ticket. Regards, Jiri
-
I don't have any further updates that I could share. Jiri
-
I suggest opening a support case. It would take a lot of back and forth before we found the problem here. Once you figure out the problem, it would be nice to share here. Jiri
-
Thanks, feature requests noted. Jiri
-
Why are you saying that? Jiri
-
Great. What was the root cause? Jiri
-
Ok, that would be a NPM question. Moving to NPM forum. Jiri

Hi, Since NCM 7.1, there have been two maintenance jobs: * Purge old configs * Database maintenance When you click on 'Help me choose', it gives a bit more info: http://www.solarwinds.com/NetPerfMon/SolarWinds/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#context=SolarWinds&file=OrionNCMPHHelpChooseCachePurge.htm Is that helpful or do…

Hi, I'm glad that the problem is solved. The NCM support team has been updated and proper training is being done to remedy similar cases. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi, Could you please specify some post-installation topics you would like to learn about? Which NCM features? Thanks, Jiri
-
Hi naeschlimann, You can extend the condition -- click on "Add Another String" and define the condition as "must not contain" string "switchport mode trunk". Regards, Jiri
-
Glad to help although I was guessing more than anything else
-
OK. You are right. I can't see any way to make NCM make use of the web interface. Jiri
-
Hi ssanders, have you tried the steps that kbskbe suggests? Any progress? I can contact you offline and we make the template work together, if you want. Regards, Jiri
-
Could you please explain what information you would like to feed into the remediation script? Not sure from the description. Thanks, Jiri
-
Could you please share more details on what View Limitations don't work? Maybe a screenshot? Jiri

Hi, Network Configuration Manager v7.4 Release Candidate is Available! Jiri
-
Does help? Jiri
-
Ok, then you have to go this way: CONFIGS -> Reports, then select reports to be updated and click Update Inventory. You will be able to select nodes then. I also suggest to set up a scheduled job of type "Update inventory" in order to update the inventory regularly. Jiri
-
Glad to hear that . Jiri

Hi ">rjordan, I quickly consulted the problem with engineering and they advise to open a support ticket -- you have active maintenance, I checked it. Please attach a copy of your DeviceTemplates folder and list all systemOIDs of devices that were included in your tests. Regards, Jiri
-
Glad to hear that . Jiri

Hi Otto, The device templates can be found in <Install directory>\NCM\DeviceTypes\. (Our long-term intention is to store them in the DB.) The best place to share them is thwack: Network Configuration Manager There are some templates for Nexus, too: Network Configuration Manager (The links are different.) Regards, Jiri
