I asked Cisco to reach out to you. Jiri
-
I'm glad that you found the problem, because "Policy Falsified" can mean other things, too. I'm not sure whether you were able to download the Smart Advisor reports or not. Can you please confirm? Jiri
-
Let me consult that with the engineers. Jiri
-
Tracked as #253330.

We are working on this with high priority and believe to find resolution with Cisco soon. Jiri
-
All, The problem is caused by some extra text that gets appended to the XML when the report is exported from NCM directly to thwack. Before we find a permanent solution, may I ask CourtesyIT to re-post the reports exported as file? Whoever needs these reports immediately may download them and delete the extra characters…

Hi, The ability to remediate all blocks in violation is part of NCM 7.4 Beta2 -- Network Configuration Manager v7.4 Beta2 is Available! Regards, Jiri
-
Yes, the procedure is described in NCM Admin Guide, Chapter 2, Migration Case 3. Jiri
-
Here it is:
-
Could you please share some of these references? We don't plan to drop any IPAM functionality. Jiri
-
OK, I'll make a note to invite you to the Beta ;-).
-
Sorry, I was wrong. The AD configuration is part of the Web Access manual, not the main Syslog admin guide. 9.4 was released with documentation in proper state. Jiri
-
Hi supermon, The issue has been fixed. Regards, Jiri
-
Thanks for the summary and a great call today. Jiri
-
Michael, your request for this new report type was logged as item no. 129830. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi Michael, I hope to have the answer for you soon. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi mathieus, you could try using a precommand like this: <Command Name=”PreCommand” Value="username"/> or maybe <Command Name=”PreCommand” Value="username${CRLF}"/> Please post your progress. Regards, Jiri
-
Alex, The URL is https://tools.cisco.com/smartservices/. Jiri

Hi kdbednarski, There's currently no workaround. This is known feature request, but it's out policy not to disclose specific future plans. Regards, Jiri
-
If the port configuration is only included in the text of the device config, then you cannot access it in a config change template. However if such parameter can be seen in one of the inventory reports, then it should be available. Jiri
-
Sorry, it would be a feature request. Jiri
-
Ben, Just to be clear -- you are trying to add a new node (not in the DB yet) via SDK/API and only want the node to be added to Core database, not NCM, right? Jiri
-
Hi, Are you saying you would need a command like 'delay(time)' that would make NCM stop for a while after it sends a command? Jiri
-
You know NCM 7.1 is in RC phase now, i.e. GA in a few week's time. Improved Juniper device support is planned for longer future... Jiri
-
Hi Rowin, Capt. Obvious is the current product manager for CatTools. He can comment. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi joie, What was the error indicated? You could turn on session tracing (Win32 -> File -> Settings) and take a look what's going on. Regards, Jiri
-
I think that even with product maintenance expired, you can open a customer service ticket -- Customer Service Ticket Submission Form | SolarWinds. Jiri
-
I see -- no SNMP, so the Platform cannot determine the device type. As far as I know, there's no way to tell NCM not to import these nodes. Jiri
-
Hi, This is a config change template and you need to run it as a config change template, not like a plain script. Jiri
-
Nothing new here, sir. Jiri
