So I opened a support ticket on this issue (#187157). I had to run the orion diagnostics to submit a log file. It turned out that I was having a problem with SQL CE. I had to reinstall SQL then run a repair on Orion and run through the configuration wizard. Once that was finished we installed SP1 and discovery worked.

According to support this is caused by corruption in the .sdf files that are responsible for wireless polling. Here are the instructions they gave me for clearing the error. It would actually be nice to have the ability to change the password in one spot for all templates. It's a bit of a pain to changes 200+ passwords one at a time every 90 days.

I ran into this issue previously and tech support told me it was because I was running SQL on our Orion server. They said we would see an improvement once we moved it off. We haven't done that yet, but I have spoken to a couple of other people that have had the same issue and they said that sped their systems up. Good luck.

As it turns out NPM 10.3 did not install correctly. We had to delete the certificates off the server and reinstall the update. After running the configuration utility everything stated working again.

Have you had any luck with this report? I am trying to get an accurate count for the previous year broken down by month and can't seem to get report writer to do what I want.

Spudnet, I can understand your frustration. I have had some slow responses, but I have always had our situations resolved. I find it best, if it is a serious situation needing immediate attention, to open a ticket and when you get a response from the support technician ask them to call you.
