Surprised this has been out there 5 years and not voted up higher or even implemented. This feature would help reduce the number of false-positive alerts generated by WPM.

You'll want to use the unmanage scheduling utility from the main Orion server. You can use this with the Task Scheduler to automatically unmanage your WPM monitors on a daily schedule. Have you tried using the deprecated recorder which uses IE? The new recorder uses Chromium. You can find the deprecated installer on your primary Orion server under %ProgramData%\SolarWinds\Installers. Look for WPM-{version}-TransactionRecorderDeprecated.msi.

Is your dropdown list dynamically generated? Also, have you tried adding wait time between when you click on the dropdown box and when you click to select the item? Another suggestion would be to try using the tab and arrow keys to move into the field and select your value.
