thanks for response Cahunt. this may sound weird but like I stated some days back, am a newbie on this. Please explain how to run the query. All am trying to achieve is an alert if the power is disconnected in which case a "show switch" command will indicate the switch is removed

still no luck - no alert Below is screenshot of alert condition and web view when I manually reloaded a switch in the stack in an attempt to trigger an alert (switch 4) As shown in screenshot, the state of the 4th switch was no longer available to view

Tested using OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.5.1.3 - no alert was generated. screenshots below

I have just tested the alert for 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.5.1.2 by email - I received 680 email alerts in less than 10 minutes Trying out the 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.5.1.3 now. will update on outcome
