  • Well, we have been working under the understanding that the bug is isolated to customers using the WHD built-in WMI discovery tool. But if you are seeing duplicates using SCCM or some such then that seems to me to want to escalate the issue since one of the given work-arounds is to use a different inventory sync tool.

  • Answering my own question: Domain -> Limits and Settings -> File Sharing -> Domain URL enter custom URL
