If you are connecting to Exchange 2007 SP2 or higher via POP3 then the issue is with the format that Exchange presents the emails by default called "best body" which causes all sorts of spacing issues. Either on the mailbox in the POP3 setting change it to plain text or switch to using the Exchange connector (presents both…

What you are seeing is an SMTP acknowledgment delay on office365 which cannot be changed by anyone other than M$ (not that I have found to date anyway), on an internal Exchange you can use the following powershell commands to turn off that delay and Tarpitting which can also effect the speed of SMTP sends;…

You still need CustomURL to bridge the gap between Browser and executable
-
When it reverts to the single FREE license you don't get assets / parts / billing / processes / surveys
-
The current Absolute Manage connector only brings in Computers not the Mobile device info, I raised this a while back as a feature request.

Ticking the SSL checkbox enables TLS comms for incoming and outgoing email

No problem an easy one to miss

You can use EWS on 2007, just make sure you enable digest authentication on the EWS site in IIS on the Exchange server.
-
You need to use billing reports and the following should do the job using "Tech" as the category and "Date worked on" with the required date range. Ticket report will not do what you want as they look at the ticket itself not the note time and assign all time within the ticket assigned to the assigned tech at time that the…

Simply logging out and back in should sort it
-
Built in is WMI only, you could use something like Lansweeper which integrates with WHD
-
Use IIS7(How to Create a Self Signed Certificate in IIS 7) to create the self signer then export and use with WHD as per above instructions

As long as the right user is logged into the computer then it will be fine

Cheers folks, have been doing a bit more digging on this and as far as I can see that the messages are stored in the SCCM site database in the StatusMessages table. With knowing this how would be the best way to get this info running through LEM?
-
The bit that you are missing is the issuance transform rule in ADFS on the RP trust as a claim rule, create one using AD as the source change SAM-Account-Name to NameID
-
You could do it with request types and have the dependant custom fields attached to the request type.
-
Save the file to desktop and then copy the file back to that location, it's Windows file security stopping the save. Or run the editor as administrator to save directly
-
You would need to change the cypher suites used, but do it in the /conf/tomcat_server_template.xml file in the following section; @@@WEBHELPDESK_SSL_START@@@<Connector port="@@@WEBHELPDESK_SSL_PORT@@@" protocol="HTTP/1.1" SSLEnabled="true" maxThreads="150" scheme="https" secure="true" clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS"…

Go to "Setup, general, options" and change the server DNS name as this determines all links back to Web Help Desk
-
On the advanced tab for the RP trust in ADFS change the secure hash algorithm to SHA1. You will also need to make sure that the Web Help Desk and ADFS server FQDN's are added into the intranet zone sites for IE to do the pass though authentication. Also on the /adfs/ and adfs/ls/ directories under IIS and authentication /…

If what you are adding takes the field data over 256 characters the save on the database for that field is likely failing due to the field only allowing a max of 256 characters. If you are adding a lot it's best to do it at a locational level
-
The rules work fine, you just get the error showing in the history
-
It's a display bug that was fixed in 12.1.0
-
You can only use the fixed value ticket custom fields i.e. single choice / multi choice / popup in the reports
-
If you know the names of the images you can use the Attachment regular expression filter to remove them
-
You would need to setup SSO using ADFS with Web Help Desk to do this.
-
Download CustomURL and install it on the tech machines, that is what links the dwrcc:// links to Dameware
-
Best way to think about parts is consumable items, i.e items with a cost that can be consumed on a call that you want to track the inventory you have / the cost to you or your customer.
-
Editing the ticket note time / date with the work time on should do the job, just make sure you are using the billing reports
