I understand the oob piece for this interface, so how do we get around NPM and NTA seeing the IP of the netflow interface as a whole new router? The IP shows up in the Other IPs section of the node, but NTA still reports traffic from an interface other than the management interface as an unknown device.

Most do, some don't. Some have 3 or 4 address assigned but only show twice.

Re: Solarwinds is still not stable aLTeReGoI would recommend double checking the transfer mode and ensuring that it's set for 'Buffered'. If it's still set to 'Streamed' then I recommend switching it to 'Buffered'. Under Centralized Advanced Settings, change'SolarWinds.Orion.InformationServiceClient' TransferMode from…

No, but I own an additional web server.

While this is some good advice, there are some platforms that won't allow SFlow/Netflow over the management VRF. I need to resolve the same issue. Policy and ACLs will not allow SNMP over the data plane just the out of band management, but still require the sending of netflow data to a collector. Any other ideas?

I wouldn't say that I've seen a performance increase, but I have seen the availability benefits. We had a site run for over two weeks while Centurylink spent their time trying to tell us us our gear was broken. The issue suddenly resolved itself after we threatened to cancel our circuit because of how well SD-WAN was…

I know this is an old and dead thread but I found that when using the NPM web interface in IE it's incredibly slow. Almost to the point of click on a node and go get a cup of coffee slow. Then I tried using it in Chrome. Night and Day difference. Chrome loads our Network Summary page in under 5 seconds. IE9 was just under…
