The features are working for many customers with 9.1, so it seems some more specific problem is happening here. Have you had a chance to open up a support ticket on this? We'd like to help you get it working.

Thanks for the feedback. It definitely helps us prioritize additional device support for the future. We chose Cisco because it is the most commonly requested SDN solution. More customers ask us for Cisco ACI support than all of those you mentioned combined. For example, ACI monitoring has 164 votes whereas Talari has not…

NTM uses WMI, SNMP, and other discovery protocols. It queries MAC tables, ARP tables, route tables, and CDP/LLDP info if available and makes the best topology it can out of the combination of all of those. The easiest way to check if it will work is to download the free trial: Network Mapping Software - Network Topology…

Not today.

This feature covers Meraki wireless devices only, so you won't see other things showing up when you add the Meraki org. To monitor Meraki switches and firewalls, you can use traditional SNMP. >How does the use of this new feature effect licensing? From my testing of 12.1, and adding in a single Meraki Org, it looks like…

NPM v12.1 was released 3/14/2017 and has this functionality.

What data are you expecting to see that you are not seeing? Also, can you send me an SNMP Walk with our tool?: SolarWinds SNMP Walk: A new tool for collecting SNMP MIB walks - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

Received - thanks!

I agree too!
-
Have you seen NOM/NAM? Licensed by node count. Use as many additional pollers as you want.
-
smoked_angus, this is the NPM feature that evolved from the lab prototype I presented at ThwackCamp last year, yes!
-
Have you applied the API key from your Meraki Dashboard and was the Add Node wizard able to display your list of organizations? What exactly happens after that? A screenshot would help a lot here. Since RCs are fully supported, a call into Support may be the fastest route to complete resolution.

We've raised the quality bar with this release. That is a big part of why it took longer than usual. I expect you will feel the difference. If not, feel free to reach out to me.

iroperto, the beta is long over. That's good news! The official release of v2.2 which includes all the functionality in the above post was released and is available in your customer portal, assuming you're on active maintenance for NTM.
-
Care to confirm that's the case in the Beta that was released last week?: NPM 12.0 Beta 2

Rob Hock no longer works at SolarWinds. Feel free to page peter.ksenzsigh, DanielleH, or I.

Is the core of the request for a right click mean, or for these additional functions to be quickly available? Have you seen the COMMANDS menu at the top of the inspector panel (the panel that opens on the right when you select a node)?

Release notes are the best place to see what has been updated: NTM version 2.2.2 Release Notes - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support Sounds like what we selected did not meet your expectations. I appreciate the feedback and will keep it in mind.

We definitely want to support this, it's just a matter of prioritization and timing.

Most of these ideas were implemented as part of the look and feel improvements released in NPM 12.0, including Orion Platform 2016.1.
-
Implemented in NTM v2.1 released 6/11/2014.

Removed the following items, because we delivered them in NTM v2.2!: * Improved Default Icons * Custom Icon Import (https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/2356 https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/2973 https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/4272) * Improved Icon Manipulation (resize, align, space, movable text, etc.) * Enhanced…

The opposite is true, I'm afraid. We're not currently planning to build that, but I'm keeping my eye on requests like this to determine if we need to change that.
-
Please use our tool to take an SNMP walk and upload it here!

Yeah, the Meraki gear really is amazing. Meraki delivered hugely simplified reliable network connectivity for companies ages ago, but only for certain use cases. Over the last decade they've increased the number of use cases they support dramatically. They're slowly making the number of cases where you need incredibly…

Rather than being tied to a specific node in the transit, would it accomplish your goal if you could quantify route change along the entire path and correlate that to performance change?
-
Looking into this, sir. I was on the phone with goodzhere hit these issues. We can do better.

Please shoot me a PM if you'd be interested in giving early feedback on mockups.
