NetPath is designed to map the path for network connections. Storage or a VM would work if they are a source or destination for the traffic. Otherwise, use AppStack to map out the Systems dependencies. Thanks for the feedback. We'll take it under consideration. Glad you like the release!

Try as an ICMP node to start. That should give you all the API based data and verify that polling is working. Then we can sort out the SNMP polling issue.

There is a Notes resource, but that is not new in NPMv12. Nothing new in NPMv12 regarding notes that I'm aware of!

We have support for several Aerohive's AP120 and AP330 and likely others as well. It can be difficult to be 100% sure of full coverage considering that each model and in fact each software version can change the way in which it presents data for monitoring. As far as I can tell, this feature is effectively "Number of Hops" that is available in NTM v2.1. Closing this FR as implemented.

The public demo is usually updated within a couple days of the Generally Available release going out. So far, NPM 12 is in RC.
