In general we do not provide timelines like that, but I am curious to know what specific metrics, statuses, or other things are you looking to monitor in Cisco FTD?

jblankjblank is interested in this feedback!

The first two charts are really interesting. They provide a lot of data in a small amount of space, and really simple drill down for more info on a data point. Nice work.
-
Thanks for this feedback.
-
Yes. But just for you, I'll make it both

xtraspecialj yeah I'm pretty excited about mappings well. Regarding NAM/NOM, it is not as simple as bundling the products together. There are a number of other changes, and license implications, and migration implications. For brand new customers, it's a simple thing. For existing customers, best to speak with your…

xtraspecialj wrote: * Next Generation Orion Mapping Is this an upgrade to Network Atlas? Please tell me it's an upgrade to Network Atlas. It's an upgrade to Network Atlas. The feature you mentioned is the single most popular feature request we hear. Paging jblankjblank in case he wants to ask more questions about what…

I've removed the following items because they were completed and delivered in NPM 12.2: * Network Insight for Cisco ASA - Covering things like VPN tunnel monitoring, ACL visibility, and improved platform health (H/A status, hardware health). * Improved Install/Upgrade - Faster, simplified product upgrades and installation…

Afraid not. NetPath and other features are added onto the agent framework as plugins. The NetPath agent does not currently support Linux. It is one of the most common feature requests though.
-
I see what you mean. Thanks.

Wouldn't this be a better fit in Storage Resource Monitor?
-
We have delivered the following features in EOC 2.1: * Enhance Enterprise Summary Tile "Basic Mode" filters and provide additional tile customization options. * Allow Users to add additional resources to Enterprise Summary Views * Provide new advanced Summary Resources (Example: General Top XX Resource) Download and…

Network Insight for ASA will monitor Remote Access VPN users and concurrent connections. Check it out: NPM 12.2 and NCM 7.7 feature: Network Insight for Cisco ASA firewalls - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

Yes, it's the code name for the new all-in-one installer. As a code name, it's not designed to be used externally - so of course that's what's happening

NTM is an automated tool for creating network diagrams. The output is similar to what you would make with Visio. Network Atlas on the other hand is for making maps of specific areas or logical groupings of the network with status overlaid. In other words, if you're trying to make traditional network diagrams, NTM is…

shuth is correct regarding the additional pollers.

Soon, planglois!

One more, dclick - You're using ASA to terminate your VPN tunnels I assume?
-
dclick, I don't have a lot of conclusions I'm prepared to share. Right now we're more focused on collecting feedback and building. I do have some questions for you that would help me understand what you want. * What are you looking for for VPN tunnels? It sounds like you want something specific to ikev1 vs v2? * What do…

Thanks sja! Tracked under: NPM-3376 (Avaya/Nortel) and NPM-3377 (Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia SR).

sja, we're collecting good targets for HWH improvements now. If you've got some you'd like to cover, can you upload full SNMP walks taken with our tool here: https://Share.SolarWinds.com/?ShareToken=8196BFCB093270F04740E73132154E426C1AA220

I want to see Solarwinds work on other things besides CISCO products. 9 weeks ago we released Network Insight for F5 and NetPath. How about Brocade? I'd be interested to hear what Brocade platforms would you like to see covered? What metrics or technologies would you like to see covered on them? Palo Alto Firewalls are…

solarview, I'm afraid we're not ready to share plans for new functionality beyond what is in this post. I appreciate the feedback though, and I agree SNMP trap and maybe more so syslog are important.
-
xtraspecialj, thanks for the feedback. We're constantly balancing improvements vs new features, but we never get it perfect. I'll take this as your vote that we spend more time on feature improvement. In the last release, 11.5, the thing we put the most effort into was redoing alerting which was an improvement not a new…
-
xtraspecialj, yes Network Insight is a framework for us like AppInsight where we add to it over time. Thanks for the suggestions.

silverbacksays, the right person for this question is michal.hrncirik!

helgims, we're not yet prepared to share more information about Meraki wireless support. If this is something you're interested in, I would love to hear your thoughts on what you'd like to see. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
