Got it. Thanks Scott!

NCM 7.8 RC1 was released on 4/25. We're releasing it in stages, so you probably (but might not) have it in your customer portal. Check customerportal.solarwinds.com.

Check out the Independent Hardware Sensor Management section of NPM 12.0 Beta1 Now Available. We'd love your input. You can sign up for the beta on that page as well if you'd like to try it hands on.

Glad to hear it. Good catch on Network Discovery still looking old. We need to do more than a "refresh" on discovery... Thanks for the feedback.
-
What a cool customization! I'm going to feature this content for a while. Thanks!
-
Only bundle mode.

They were an easy choice for first support because they are so common amongst folks, but I do expect people to be migrating to newer platforms over time. We've got some work to do!
-
These details are still being worked out, cando666.
-
Have you checked out the latest beta? We've got some good stuff in there!: NPM 12.4 BETA 1 IS OUT!
-
Yes to always backing up first. That step is in all of our upgrade guides. Steps 2 and 3 you mentioned are intelligent ways to reduce risk. Despite what anyone tells you, you found them necessary based on first hand experience so the only wise thing to do is to continue doing them. I really don't think you should have to…

No sir, bobmarley.

pratikmehta003, please use our tool to take an SNMP walk and upload it here!

fgppcnie - Jeff has transitioned roles and I'm taking care of NCM now, so I'd be happy to discuss. Unfortunately, we don't plan to do much in the way of HTTP/HTTPS interacting with nodes in the near future. I don't have anything specific I'm prepared to announce beyond what is in the WWWO post at the top, but in general I…

The feature from SAM for running scripts and storing is what I was referring to. Glad to hear you'd like to see that in NCM.
-
Yup, happy to discuss this. Have you seen SAM's custom script pollers?
-
What page are you getting that on? Shoot me a PM if the forum is not working. We shouldn't be sharing beta content outside of the private beta forum - that's one of the things that pesky legal agreement you saw in the beta signup process said.

NPM 12.3 Beta 1 is Out!

I owe you folks an update here. As has been painfully obvious, the roadmap for NTM does not include a lot. It's tiny. Infinitesimal? Here's the skinny: there is a lot more NTM could do and that I want it to do. If we go and build those things we have to raise the price though. I don't want to raise the price. There are…

The product roadmap page on Thwack for this product and indeed all of our products is not intended to list all of our ideas or even all of our roadmap. It's just the list we're ready to share. I'm afraid with NTM, we're not ready to share more than we have above. Sorry for the wait! On the positive side, our last release…

Thank you rajeshagnihotri. This data is helpful as we think about ACI. I'm afraid I can't say when or if we will support ACI.
-
rajeshagnihotri, ACI is definitely on my radar. I'm interested in what specific things you'd like monitored by NPM. Can you drop me a few of your ideas here or in a private message?
-
Got it. Thanks for the feedback.
-
Oh, I didn't know that. Let's ask the NTA Product Manager: jreves!
-
Understood. Flow is part of our Netflow Traffic Analyzer (NTA). NTA currently supports NBAR2. Check it out here: Set up NBAR2 on Cisco devices Is there something you wanted to see for NBAR2 in NPM? This thread is about what we're working on for NPM.
-
What are you interested in monitoring for NBAR?
-
Yes, NTM is still supported.
-
What's missing wrainwater?

This is mostly supported today: TLS compatibility with Orion Core Products - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support There are some caveats, like using legacy tools and having to enable during upgrade. Are you asking about when those caveats will be removed?
