In the beta forum. Thanks!
-
I just submitted the request. I expect points to arrive in a couple days.

Can you try polling these separately? SNMPv2-MIB:system OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1 IF-MIB:interfaces: OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2 IF-MIB:ifMIB OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.31 RFC1213-MIB:ip OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.4 ENTITY-MIB:entityMIB OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.47 ciscoMgmt OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9

Fixed photos. I copy pasted the images in and it just used links to our internal wiki which actually render properly for anyone at SolarWinds, so I didn't see the problem! Points should be arriving shortly. Thanks!

I would like to see NPM work better with both SNMPTraps and Syslog handling. Can you give me some examples of what you're doing and/or what you would like NPM to do for you?

Hey cory.cousins, I'm sorry for the hassle. This shouldn't be happening. This is a severe issue but it is happening only in specific environments. It looks like we're having trouble reproducing it in our lab. That always makes it more complex to fix. We implemented a number of fixes (CORE-10393, EOC-1402, EOC-1409, and…

NPM 12.3 RC1 was released 4/25! The official release (GA) is something we don't know for sure yet. If you look at our past releases, GA follows RC1 by 4-6 weeks, but that may or may not hold true this release.
-
In the NPM Beta forum. However, RC1 is already out so we will not be able to incorporate any feedback before release. The feedback is still valuable for future releases though!

wluther This is not a trending issue. I have not seen a similar report from another user. We'd love to look at it if it occurs again or can be recreated.

Web performance improvements are on the What We're Working on for NPM (Updated June 1st, 2018) post, but we don't know if they will be delivered in this release. I'm not aware of a significant change in web performance in NPM 12.2. It's not clear if the slowness you're experiencing is because the system is not capable of…

We support a lot of vendors. Our topology engine uses CDP, LLDP, MAC address tables, route tables, and ARP tables. It sounds like there is something specific in your environment that's not working. Generally topology pollers are assigned automatically so you should not have to create a new poller. That's the desired…

Exactly when it's ready, and not a moment sooner! Seriously though: we don't have a release date yet. Right now we're focusing on getting as much valuable content in as possible and making sure it works for you guys.

It appears bsciencefiction.tv's case was solved long ago (environmental issue). I think Jfrazier's issue is different. Which one sounds more like yours? Either way, since this doesn't appear to be a single prevalent problem, it's probably best to open a support case to troubleshoot the specific issue affecting you.

I don't know off the top of my head but I'll check with our wonderful QA guys Monday and let you know Vinay.

Thanks for resurrecting this thread ryoungpe! As it happens, we have new tools that help us build wireless support faster. If you can grab a SNMP walk, it would help a bunch. Will PM you and some of the others in this thread with instructions and an upload link.
-
Last time we checked, connected client list and stats definitely was not available from Meraki. If you've got someone from Meraki that says otherwise, I'd love to talk to them!
-
You can import all sorts of images, but not Visio stencils directly. The images imported into NTM will be exported to Visio. Modular scan refers to the separation of scanning results and a map, allowing a single scan to power (create and update) many maps.
-
I'll shoot you a link to upload the SNMP Walk that we can chase the issue down with. This should be working.
-
Thanks!
-
Thanks very much!
-
Up to you, of course, but I can tell you that we use them internally only, particularly among our development and QA groups to help build and test new features and functions.
-
Do you have these devices in your NPM instance now?
-
I expect this would be quite hard to do currently but if you can send me an SNMP Walk I can see if our dev group can come up with anything. You can send it to me at chris.obrien{at}solarwinds.com and reference this Thwack post.
-
fdamstra, did the upgrade fix it?
-
I am aware of the technical limitations of the solution I proposed, but I'm still interested in why it is not a good solution for rednarb specifically.
-
I'm not sure there's much more I can do via Thwack. This isn't a known issue and it probably requires several steps of investigation and interaction with your device. Best to open a support case so we can get that done and get this solved for you!
-
This should, but does not, apply to CLI based polling for ASA.
-
It looks like you don't have an enable password. Can you confirm you have not specified the enable password in NPM?
