Has anymore info come out on the infoblox integration from SolarWinds?

Does anyone know if Solarwinds is creating an appinsight for lync/Skype?

Is there a way to remove the "Log Out" button?

Yes we have been through a number of upgrades. What about the poller on the primary NPM server? Did you reinstall that one as well? Thanks for getting back to me. Too bad SolarWinds cant respond to my system down ticket I entered for this.

sounds like it would be safer to go to a stand-alone IPAM in the new location with the current DB.

We had SolarWinds Engineers work with us for a few weeks to create us a windows script that checks the size of the cifs shares for us. here is the main script. Just copy it into the Scritp Body: ' Required Parameter: ShareName ' Likley requires credential. if WScript.Arguments.Count < 0 Then HandleError2( "Missing share…

Sending the traps to the Orion server is not the answer we were looking for. We are going to try and update / upgrade to the new version and see if it’s any better. Customization of alerts is important to us. So far from what I have seen Storage Manager needs some major improvements if we are going to keep it. Our storage…

Are you still seeing the SWJobEngineWorker2.exe *32 crash in your logs?
-
No. Its part of a NPM suite in another city. I need to remove it from that npm enviroment and onto a new one that will host the west coast.

So SolarWinds is an IP based monitoring solution and it considers DNS an application? Seems to me that if it can reslove the name to IP automatically then it should alert if that name goes away. Thanks again for the help.

Thank you that did the trick

In the Devices list the SQL servers show up twice. Once for SNMP and once for WMI. The SNMP one displays the fully qualified name of the device and the WMI one shows only the NetBIOS name.

Has SolarWinds come back to anyone with a solution? I went round and round with 1st tier 2nd tier and the developers on the SWJobEngineWorker2.exe *32 crashing. The first guy I spoke with sent me an email telling me to just turn of WER and that the Worker2 job will restart on its own. My response to him was " "ah no….we…

Thank you for replying... One more question on this - When you change the threshold in Edit Application Monitor does it only change it for that device or does it change it for all devices using Appinsight for SQL?

So the request is we need a list of all servers that have less than 5GB free or less than 10% free space. My Trigger Condition is: Trigger Alert when all of the following apply VolumeType is equal to Fixed Disk Volume Percent Used is greater than or equal to 90 I need to add the 5GB free. Shouldn't I be able to do…

We were able to get this complete. Ended up making sure both version were at the same level then we BCP'd everything in the DB that had to do with IPAM. Re ran the solarwinds configuration and it worked. We have been live on our "Migrated" IPAM for a couple weeks now.

we are able to filter them by adding machinetype like '%windows%' and PendingDecomm = 'False'

I believe its a bug...https://support.solarwinds.com/Success_Center/VoIP_Network_Quality_Manager_(VNQM)/VNQM_SLX_license_error%3A_License_Limited_Exceeded_on_Unlimited_License

No responses yet? What is everyone else doing for alerting with storage manager?
-
The above fix didn't work for us. It turns out the Remote Registry Service on the device was not running. Once I started the service IIS monitoring started working again.
