Makes sense. I've got it tracked. For internal folks - it's FB30903. Thanks for the input/explanation. --Christine

Hi Vincent - we are still tracking this as a feature request. --Christine
-
Hi Patriot - this is on the road map. I can't really speak to the initial days of EOC development - but I can say we're actively working on adding functionality to EOC - so please let me know if you have other feature requests or comments. --Christine
-
Hi everyone - I contacted Chris offline. If anyone else is interested in testing the template, please let me know. --Christine

Hey Juan - the short answer is - "it depends." Some of the tools require admin rights and some do not. We're definitely moving toward not requiring admin rights as we evolve the tools. We don't have a list of what's what - but generally, if the tool requires starting or stopping a service (TFTP server, Config, etc.), you…

Hi everyone, you want to be sure and check to upgrade *all* the options (website, services, and database). Now, the application shouldn't even ask you since the answer for everyone needs to be "all of them" but for various reasons this was done this way, and we're definitely going to fix that in the next release. Until…

Hi G - the trial does indeed have the same functionality as the paid product. Just to make sure this option was there, I downloaded the eval onto one of my VMs just now and the option was definitely there. I think, perhaps, you downloaded the free version instead of the trial. That option is there and you can choose either…

Hi StarB - could you make sure that you don't have a ‘privilege level’ field in the Passwords tab of the device setup with any value? If you do, please try removing the value (clear out the field) and see if that works. If that isn't the case, I'd suggest opening a support ticket so we can get diagnostics and sort out this…

Hi ECornwell, we're still tracking it for a future release. We don't have it on a schedule at the moment though. Christine
-
Hi Ottoguy - I'll enter this as a feature request. --Christine
-
Hey Byron - in that case - this is odd behavior. I'd suggest opening a support ticket so we can sort this out for you. Thanks, Christine
-
Hi Kitt - thanks for the additional explanation. I was going to suggest using the baseline feature and/or the policy reporting functionality, but your explanation makes it clear why you can't do that. I'll get this entered as a feature request. --Christine
-
Hi Moyzan - I would suggest opening a support ticket in that case. This is something we should investigate. --Christine
-
Hi Portuguese Bend - I would suggest running the config wizard again and if that isn't solving the problem (sounds like you have tried this), please open a support ticket. --Christine
-
Hi Kle1ntje - I believe so, but I am not 100% sure. Unfortunately, this would be one of those "you'll have to try it to be sure" things. --Christine
-
Hi Byrona - is there something you're looking to do that you can't do execute script in the webUI? We definitely hear you on enriching the webUI with more functionality - our goal is to get the webUI as rich as possible over time.
-
Let me know if you are still having this problem in 6.0. We're soon to RC 6.1 - so let me know if you'd like to try that out as well. --Christine
-
We are definitely tracking this as a feature request. I've heard this one a lot - so that will help move it up on the priority list. --Christine
-
Hi Bryan - if refresh isn't working - I would please open a support ticket for this. --Christine
-
Right - I see. I was, in fact, just talking about this feature with a colleague. We have been tracking this request for a while, and I'm seeing more and more customers ask about it. I'll move it up in the priority list, as it's definitely something that would save a lot of time for many of our customers. --Christine
-
Hi Vineeth - did you say you used to have NCM? I think NCM can handle this requirement for you. --Christine
-
You'll actually see some of the new functionality in the upcoming release. More of it in the release that follows. If you want in on the RC let me know. --Christine
-
Hi Darksiders - that is no problem - that is the request I have in the system. Thank you for your input! --Christine
-
Hey Donald - I just saw this post. I don't know if you sorted this out, but I'll contact you offline and send you the details. --Christine
-
Hi Iengineering - you can definitely do this, and the bandwidth will be determined by how many monitors you have set up. We recommend using SNMP - as it is easier to use across firewalls and will also use less bandwidth. Christine
-
Hi Bob - it's not in 6.0, however, we are working on it now. I'm going to update the "What we're working on" as soon as we GA with 6.0. --Christine
-
What Viol8tor is trying to do can mostly be done using the roles in NCM. Users will still have to log in to the Win32, but there is no need for the NCM admin to know their passwords. Here are the instructions: NCM can have the device credentials applied in two different ways. The first way is to have the device credentials…

Hi Dave - I added this as a feature request - for internal users - it's TT #5103. --C
