I was able to get the latest MIBs from Aruba for the models I need and emailed them to my SE at Solarwinds. I was told the dev again would be adding support. Was told this once already and they closed the ticket with no resolution. Hopefully they follow through this time.... Will keep everyone informed.

I found the fix for it. Apparently this is a (lesser) known issue, and you have to go to the General tab of the report, and uncheck "Group historical data by days". This link to the fix I found is here: NPM Report "No Activity to Report" Thanks! Chris

The new MIBs have been uploaded today. No change at all. Very disappointing.

No. Actually, I also tested using availability for yesterday, and the report ran fine. I added 2 elementary conditions, and it stopped working. As far as I can tell, this stopped working after upgrading to NPM 12 This are the 2 conditions I added that causes this to stop working:

I had this setup very similar thanks to per-sales technical support, however, after upgrading to NPM 12, I've had to make some changes to add the individual node names. I also setup a custom property called "Metrics", and assigned Yes to all nodes I wish to monitor. Since then, if I select "Time of day" options for greater…

Well, just before 12.3 was released, I was in touch with an SE and our account manager, and supplied them with all the information they required, and promised by that the development group would have this working for 12.4 They fell short, and I am not happy. I'm talking to my new account manager to escalate this. We spent…

I have the same thing. We've had an Aruba 3810M Layer 3 switch for a few months, and while NPM seems to see everything, and there appears to be nothing missing, I get an undefined error and says it cannot poll the hardware. Not sure what is missing, but I've opened up a support ticket with Solarwinds. I will try and…

Hi Will, I actually I was able to dissect 2 existing reports, monthly utilization and another specifically for the Interface alias, and was able to get the report I needed. Not fun working with this, but was satisfying to accomplish it.

I'm using NCM version 7.5. I'm not using the F/W upgrade wizard, but my own script. I don't remember seeing the wizard, but even then it's probably only for Cisco iOS devices. We use ProCurve switches so I don't think it would work. I should check anyway...

Unfortunately superfly99, with ProCurve, copying a new script essentially appends it. TFTP is the way to go I found. Thanks for the reply however.

Hi sgtp, Thanks for the tip. On my ProCurve, I TFTP's a new startup-config file, overwriting the existing one, it rebooted the switch and it's a clean config. Now I just have to script this in NCM and test a remote push. Using NCM to just push a new startup-config essentially just appends. Maybe something for Solarwinds to…

Thanks Will! Chris

I had a similar issue with our HP switches doing software upgrades. Some models would reload, but most would not. I tested the script manually on a switch and it worked just fine. My work around was to setup a second job to reload the switches. By itself, the reload job worked fine. So I staggered the reload times about 15…

I just did it the other day. In NCM 12, you can create a job to do this for you. The link to the support page is here: Enable Baseline Config in bulk - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support Chris

I have a similar issue. I currently have 666 devices that I require to set a baseline, with another 1200+ to come soon. I really, really don't want to have to go and click "set baseline" on that many switches/routers. Is there no way to select "current/last backup" on groups of devices to default as the baseline? I…
