  • Can you please describe to me how the "New Email Ticket" request type would be setup? Thanks Chad
  • We do currently have AD/LDAP connection turned on and syncing to AD. How will this effect that setting? I was able to send a test email through with a client manually added but we want it to automatically go through without having to add a client each time? Thanks Chad
  • Ok I see that setting now and that is the request is defaulting too. It is not letting me leave it blank however. If I don't want the emails to default to a certain request type how would I do this? Would I have have to create a "unassigned" request type and set that?
  • I do not currently have a client setup for that email. Should I? Can you explain how I would configure @shiplps.com to be the reconised domain? I believe that is the current setup be where would I check this again?
  • I believe in my situation this is not the case as I have another Department head setup and she is not showing in the CC field for the request type.
  • Tried Chrome and IE and get the same results. Jeff Tarnowski is the manager for the IT group. I also have Marci Marrone as the Manager in HR department. I would like them both to default at the bottom but cannot get it to work.
  • So I tried what your describing and it still came in as unassigned which is what I have the incoming email settings set to for request type when they first come in. Can you direct me as to what I might have set incorrectly? Thanks Chad
  • There isn't anything showing in Clients for HRFax@shiplps.com. I searched with and without the LDAP search. I did a test and I created another account in AD and let it sync to office 365 email. Then I tried to send to helpdesk@shiplps.com from that email account and I get the same error "We're sorry, your e-mail address…
  • We have AD/LDAP sync on and it is fully synced. Still getting the error when I try and send from the HRFax@shiplps.com email. Does the fact this this is a "cloud" email account and not an AD email account make a difference?
  • Any other suggestions? I still seem to have all my tickets come in as "unassigned" request type which is configured under my incoming email setting but I would like the action rule to take over and put the ticket in with request type of "distribution list" Thanks Chad
