  • Steve: We are currently running version 3.4.0. I downloaded 3.5.0 - but it just came with an exe file. Are there any upgrade documents or instructions? Can I upgrade on top of my current version or do I need to export data, uninstall, install and import? Thank You
  • Trying to bump this back up. I am hoping that someone out there is also either trying to do this or has successfully implemented what I am attempting. I have called Solarwinds technical support and was told to post on this forum to receive attention from Solarwinds development as to how to do this. Thank You.
  • Have you found a solution to this yet?
  • I ran into the same issue. I ended up downloading and installing net-snmp, which allows me to monitor disk usage, memory and swap. I was not able to monitor CPU (which is really what I wanted the most). You may have to have a tool other then solarwinds to monitor that part. I am looking at orca (http://www.orcaware.com) to…

  • Mike: I just upgraded to 7.2.2 and I am so pleased that the CPU and Memory stats are now there for NET-SNMP! The Solaris systems are all correct, but the SUSE linux systems' memory is misrepresented. One SUSE system has 4GB of Memory and Orion thinks it only has 2GB ... Have you figured out your issue? It may help me!…
  • Denny: We've been happily using Orion since 2003 and each successive upgrade has given us a little more functionality which is great (trap/alerting was a big one). We do have a few pain points that have recently brought our team together to discuss other options. Since I manage Orion - I have the unique knowledge that they…
  • Rog: Your solution to gaps in Orion reporting is fantastic. I have one question: In your description you mentioned that you "...and then have it auto-publish to the web directory..." Specifically how do you "auto-publish" from the SNMP Real Time Graph Utility? Thanks, Chandi
