Please tell me you found a way to do this...?? I can't for the life of me get it to work.

It works! Thanks!

That was it!, I have admin rights but I completely forgot that there is more custom settings you have to look through, including ncm. Now I can create jobs, etc. Thanks!

Did you ever find a solution? I noticed with me everything looks better/sharper in atlas than it does in solarwinds.

If you still need help, I think I figure it out. Sort of lol. It doesn't always work but it is for me atm. Just let me know.

Nope Orion doesn't support looping / gifs, so in return it gives a static image and updates it every 15 mins. I haven't found anything better yet. Would be cool though if it did loop in Orion.

Thats what I figured, but something strange I found out... It will work if I have it focus on contacts/ or department. It will then display everything correctly. Department has multiple devices within it, same as group. However for now I need group since not all devices are listed in the correct department. Very odd that…

The account is an orion user

Tried using different browsers and even cleaned out all memory on them. Still no luck. Yup authenticating via AD.

I could do that but, at least the way I'm thinking of, it would make the nodes statuses invalid / unkown....right?
-
I got admin rights and no restrictions.

Thanks, but that doesn't seem to work. The alert is for a group which within it are its devices. The email correctly states which device in that group is down, but I cant get it to show the ip of that device nor its site. What you gave me just shows in the message as is and doesnt show anything else. Any ideas?

But this question I would liked answered if anyone knows how to make the icon itself change colors while keeping the transparency..? I don't need to do this but it might be something I would like to have later on.

Worked like a champ, thanks!!

Also is there a way to change the child status displaying 1 or 2 and have it changed it up /down/warning?

Nevermind I found a way. Apparently I didn't need to make separate icons for statuses. What I did was I put the gif image into the General networking icons group and did that in both folder places. I also did it on the server itself. And now it works!!
