I believe this is no longer shown on the login screen of the web client.

Hi @"jeffpahf" , I dont think you'll be able to tell what app was used as usually 2FA setup doesnt send any communication back to the service from the 2FA app. 2FA QR codes are usually pretty generic with most apps and will work on both Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. It's only bespoke functions like…

No worries. As I see it, the gateway proxies the connection from the internet so it will be connecting to the internal server - unless I am misunderstanding the setup?
-
Do you see any other activty for those IPs prior to the denied messages. The denied messages are usually triggered by IP Access rules, or the Anti-Hammer settings
-
Thanks for the update. Are there any specific circumstances or is File Sharing always broken with the latest update for any user? Any ETA on a fix?
-
What are you trying to achieve with Informacast? Will it be connecting to Serv-U as a client application and if so, will it be via FTPS or SFTP?
-
I havent seen anyone else report this on here but I just wanted to check first if you have tried this in a separate browser? This will just ensure it is not a cached JavaScript file from a previous version.
-
Could someone post a screenshot of the erorr? With the latests update and hotfixes, I have only experienced this error in the mobile web client, never in the normal Web Client. From memory, I think refreshing the page or going back and then pressing login again seems to log you in. Its not a solution but it could be a clue.

Hi @"jeffpahf" [30] Thu 30May24 13:06:57 - (015891) SSH2_MSG_DISCONNECT: reason: 9; description: Host key not accepted; This one is likely because they are pointing to a different server and the host key is different, so their script or software probably has the old key cached. Could you reapply 15.4.2 installation and then stop serv-u fully (including exiting the tray), then copy in and replace all files from the hotfix?
-
All tests I've done seem to be ok with 15.4.2 HF1 (15.4.2.147). Is it possible that a password was changed / corrupted before you installed HF1?
-
To calculate the PASV port being used, take the last two numbers and do the following (using your screenshots) (19*256)+152 = port 5016 (19*256)+142 = port 5006 Ensure your firewalls are open for the full port range configured for PASV in Serv-U. However, in this case, I think its more of an issue with the storage location…

I havent seen that issue with 15.3, have you tried 15.4?
-
Hi Bella, Please can you tell us the exact version you are using so that we can test Are there any specific situations or a process that makes this happen? You can see this at the bottom of the Management Console page.
-
I'm intrigued by this too because I dont see an option for us, but Solarwinds themselves send out a File Sharing link when you open a support case on their portal.
-
Are you using Serv-U Gateway or a different load balancer? Are you able to get the logs from that for a period where you are seeing the failed login attempts?
-
I can see the same issue where there is no progress on the downloads from File Shares for large files. Tested on 15.3.2 and it was the same though? Keen to know if maybe you were on an earlier version maybe? Either way its not good, it needs to show some feedback. Please can you let us know what support have said for your…
-
Interesting, so the functionality of the day it downloads big files has changed just in that most recent upgrade? I'll do the same tests as well and let you know what I find on 15.3.2 and 15.4
-
I wasnt expecting any File Sharing changes in this version, do you know what version you upgraded from recently? Just for reference for anyone looking at the thread.
-
@"Menno" Thanks for the detail, I just wondered if this was the same in the last immedate version 15.3.2?
-
Great, all fixed for you?
-
I think you may be replying to the wrong thread?
-
Thank you for the update on this, the "permission denied" error is probably the reason for the 0 byte file, I've sene this a few times before where there is an issue transferring a file, the SFTP client creates the file as a placeholder on the remote server but when it comes to read the source file it cannot for whatever…
-
Yes, same here, got the same bug. @"[Deleted User]" @"tiagocoelho2" have you reported this to support? They should be able to resolve and provide a fix. I think it will help if we all report it?
-
I've had a double check in the documentation and the method you Described in 'Directories' is documented but it does have some notes: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/servu/content/servu-domain-directories-directory-access.htm -- The alternative, preferred where many servers exist, or if the…
-
Ah I see. So it works ok when the service account is reverted but when specifying a different account in "Directories" it does not make the connection using those details? Have you ever used this "Directories" method, even in previous versions? I havent had a need to use it myself. Also, have you raised this with…
-
If you were on a previous version and upgraded, the service account may have been changed. Have you checked it?
-
Just for the purposes of verifying that this is the issue, have you tried changing the service account back to what it was and doing your test on the current version?
-
No worries, A few versions back there was a change in the release notes relating to the user Serv-U is running under. Have you checked that since you upgraded and had this issue?
-
As this is quite a long thread with a few angles, to summarise, the issue with JSch and other clients not being able to connect was resolve by a new setting being added which you can turn on in 15.3.2 HF1 (it is NOT on by default). The instructions are here:…
