Good Job Super Geek! On to the next Movie!

Great Checklist to start with, the addition of the AA's considerations and functionality needs that Leon Adato brought up is priceless! Managing and adjusting the network, QOS, Firewalls, etc. is a good reason to have enough Engineer's on board while deploying. I would also add an Audit function, or operational tasks. Get…

I understand this may be an extensive account setup/management overhaul, but I am surprised that this has not yet made it to the 'What we are working on.' Status. Head Chiefs must be able to manage their tribes.

Auto works in most cases - it usually depends on the end device.... so yeah, every now and again there may be an Old SMB Cisco node that gets finicky.

Now I am hungry. I like warm pita. Interesting, I actually set a relationship status... that must have been a joke. Bureaucrats always get in the way of someone's fun.

Most or All ?

The availability graphs do not calculate the un managed times. I would prefer an option for maintenance that is actually separate from the un manage.

Great Breakdown! Thank you for the article!

Visibility is key. Running Blind only causes problems.. even with his sight, the user who clicks blindly on whatever pops up next is a blind man. Somewhere you may have to ask them if they will allow you to help them, they did call you for help after all.

Awesome!!! New tools are always great, but this one is SCHWEET!

I have tested this a little - and Editing a Node - the mandatory custom property does not change. It does NOT default back to choice 1. You can setup the custom property and not apply it to any node - BUT the FIRST time you edit that node, the Mandatory Custom Properties will all have the 1st choice selected. * This needs…

I have noticed that the hoodie seems to be absent from the item list... I have in the past noticed it gone, then saw it back for a small time frame. This time around I did not see it. I am just curious.

I feel like there should be a DUN DUN DUUUNNNNN! At the end of this... good story, on the edge of my seat until I read #2.

Good catch!

Excellent Info!

Decent Idea, I would tack these into the CP table by default instead of adding another table to the DB. And of course would come with the customization options because I do not want a full list countries, states, etc.

Excellent... you're making it too easy to refresh and re-bash the basics on a whole new level. Thanks adatole

Personally after some thought, and I think several others may agree; I want everything monitored and tracked... except my own devices(personal or business owned).

I think before this new trend, the only reason to walk around looking through your camera was if you were a photog. ... i doubt these folks are finding their eye.

but it's the ability to strike while the iron is hot... no artists waits until clock in time to start painting that masterpiece. They work when the idea comes and let's the inspiration take over. Engineering and Troubleshooting is the same - if I wake up at 2:00 AM with an idea or the clue I need to fix something in limbo…

All trunk links are monitored, and per usage I keep a display of all trunk links over a certain % of usage (in or out). Anything critical for operation, has the link monitored, and all redundant links. Visuals for % usage, current hour errors (specifically error - discards are filtered out), and also High Errors for the…

It might have been that same meeting with IBM where they said the money is in the hardware not the software, that they also said the 2MB limit would never run out.

When applied appropriately they are a massive feedback too and sounding board.. give them a chance to sound off and you may have insight on how to make everyone's life easier.
