Here are a couple of links to help you out with getting it right for your needs. Example variable script More Automation in NCM: Usage of Variables and Custom Properties in Command Scripts and Config Change Templates If you are able please share a generic version of what you do come up with, and reach out if you have any…

Add , n.vendorIcon , n.building to the internal select query to bring in the Vendor Icon, and what look like a Custom Property that you have in your screen shot.

What Andy McBride said. But I would be checking this from the server side, to make sure your non default Strings and proper version are still set on the server after the reboot. Something may have reverted if you habe restore/check points taken and stored on the system locally. Check your syslogs and events on the server…

mesverrum is right about the sessions tracing, it is very useful. I would also ask is there any sort of timing difference in the sequence that triggers the alert and the script that you are running. Where as the the timing in the alert, and the action afterwards may be different from your manual execution and causing the…

that specific issue happened on a few of our Adonis Boxes. snmp service restarting will give you a down or unknown for your other components. The SNMP Server restart would alert on the DHCP Daemon going down since without snmp there was no response from said device.

njoylif ; I think that's the 'tricky' join when it comes to pulling multiple values from the custompoller tables; the attempt is to use the row ID to pull two or more different polled values from the same table and have them display side by side.

Very nice!!! Thanks, cmellor Resolution * For VNQM 4.2.2 see HotFix2 * For VNQM 4.2.3 See HotFix1

Can you provide that query / process ?
-
Now that is incorporation! It looks like that took 2 days, 2 pairs of pliers, 4 clamps and 8 broken bones.
-
familyofcrowes what wishful thinking, this idea did not even occur to me until now. I can see the differences in setup being an issue to incorporate these two though.
-
Sounds like a plan there. As we had this process completed just the other day on all polling servers, and I still have nodes lacking several hours behind on the UnDP.
-
This issue still exists for us. Currently our main poller is tied to the same server as the web engine, we have a liscense for another poller and are in the process of setting that up to give the web server it's own space. Solarwinds says this should help the issue, but it is more than just the main poller that stops…

What if you set a node to be un managed at a specific time, but then the report for unmanaged from shows a time 6 hours later?
-
I was just thinking - we'll have to go back to Google API, but I think that's a little bit of involved setup. Really don't have time before my Go-Live tomorrow for this..... guess I may be hiding the maps for a little bit.
-
But I'd rather keep my Thweed to myself.
-
Suggestions for when this comes up when Customizing a page? - Any Page! NO Modules are out dated/not relevant.
-
rob.hock - What happens after the Node is Marked Down? Does the normal programmed polling/discovery interval resume (default being 2 minute poll/ping & 30 Min rediscovery) ? * Or is the "Down" Node still being fast polled, or polled more frequently until it comes back UP ? IF when DOWN it is polled any differently than…

No Holes in the DB Either Interface or Node.

That's the one!

Good Luck. If you have issues with IPAM 4.5 check your installed versions, if 4.3 is still there uninstall both, then reinstall 4.5 (issue with a dll that is not removed, and I am not sure if the new installer takes care of this known issue). Other than that, VNQM I have had to uninstall alltogether from the Additional…

If I remember correctly IVIM usually has shown up on my NPM installs. If you have an Eval showing, did you install something that you do not have a license for? Or possibly have not moved over/removed the license from the old server.
-
Yes, prawij!! Thanks for that reminder. I've used that a couple of times and it works pretty well. It does massively decrease your install/upgrade times.

Grand Idea to Snapshot your VMs, and Backup your DB just before you start. This will create the smallest hole in your data in the event that you need to restore the DB. If you do roll back the apps by rolling back your VM, you will need to restore the DB to that same time as well. This is because the first CW run will do…

shouldn't you have waited until today to post that?

Nice, Glad to hear, tangles!!! I'm all about the Hunt!

Interesting; though I have never seen that happen I know what you are talking about. You do see a lot of "Adjusted" characters on read. There is a lot of data in the system that gets translated to or from web/html syntax. Though the only time I have ever had this be an issue is when I read the data. Only in reports, or…

Run the online installer, you can get to and hold NTA at 4.2.3 using the "Cancel" option, and confirming it(see my comment below for insight).

MY issue may be slightly different. As I have a node listed, and it says it is NOT Licensed by NCM (No). When I go to add the Nodes to NCM, I get an error that says "Nodes with IP Addresses x.x.x.x already exist in NCM." When I try to remove the nodes the error is, "Selected Nodes already removed from NCM."

Uh, yeah... Marie; ... the Unmanaging and Remanaging Nodes was page 73(document), physical page 91... and uh; I'm going to need you to come in on Saturday to finish those TPS reports. yeah

If you are alerting on Group Members then your option here is to use the threshold settings for CPU/Mem Values and then alert when a group Member is Warning or Critical. This is because your dynamic selection options in the alert build restrict your inclusive values to the 'Group Member Status', and thus restricting you…
