I'm now thinking of using the 'Sandwich Contents' Tabular Poller now, coupled with the 'Section Level Count' for # of slices; this will tell me if we have Ham (Row ID 4), Turkey (Row ID 5), Sausage Types - Salami, Pepperoni, etc. (Row ID 6), Beef (Row ID 7), Fish (Row ID 8), Chicken (Row ID 9), Pork (Row ID 10), Egg (Row…

Funny thing for auditing firms - the tactic of loose USB drives in the parking lot seen in Mr. Robot was exactly like a story I head about from someone at one of these security audit firms... and it worked, just like in the Show.....

Data is useless if it is the bottom line that matters... that is how you end up with sub-par/underdeveloped apps, or a bad SLA... because the bottom line was more important than the data that was presented...in some cases, not even understood. Applying that Business need as Mr. michael stump has stated, can be key in…

We have and have had SAM but use it in a limited manner. We are looking forward to better collaboration with other departments and the applications teams to expand this. Knowing the topology is always key, as it is our distributed server setup and Storage Array's always create a bit of an issue in tracking when the…

What tabs are not you not able to customize? I can customize any Menu Bar and/or Side Tabs. For the NCM/NPM the rename option just means creating a new one and then setting that as the accounts tabs to use.

The one stop shop may be the best investment for a small company, and as long as they allow policy implementation to take place you may not be pulling out your hair when it comes to simply dealing with the users.

"Screen Shot or it didn't happen!" / "Cap or didn't happen!" Coming from the service / help desk / crazy techs do weird and illogical things - all of those WTF, and 'how did you manage that?' When Explained to another agent/tech they would reply, "Screen Shot or it didn't happen!" Some times shortened to "Cap or didn't…

One of the first places I worked had a glass room for all our servers. A really small 6x10 room with 3 sides of glass to show off 12 servers and 2 PBX's and a lot of crazy cabling - that is until i showed up on a Saturday to bundle and dress all the cabling. It looked better after the dressing, but didn't change the fact…

Not sure how many folks access our website on mobile devices; patients use and their systems are tied to the internet group.. another silo. Any mobile applications we use are developed for the interface used on, and then considered internal for the most part. Remote folks get systems to handle their functions and operate…

A Colleague was installing the company's end to end management software on a salesman's laptop. During the install he selected to use the default templates for the application. This in turn, sent a command to the SQL server and deleted all the custom templates for sales, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing,…

That may be useful, I am just considering the option of allowing editing to the name when using the Custom property editor, you can edit everything else just about, why not the name? So that I can remove the domain from the name. Unless I am missing a way to have the node entered into NPM without the domain. I guess I do…
