I didn't realize that SW was okay with us taking home a copy and installing it on our own devices. Licensing issue, or will it be okay to open a support case when my systems at home do not function as they should... ?

I use groups mostly as well, but would prefer an option to copy a group setup into an individual account that I can use for testing and confirming the views and limitations of that AD Group Account setup.

Yes, then just route that sub network. Setup that VLAN to refresh leases a little more often if DHCP - if folks really want a static address you can set it up - but for that "NEED" you then know what range is valid. No guess work.

I used to do this as well, and that categorization is great for view specifics on your modules... might consider using groups to limit the views.. and you might find yourself using the same views for a few customers - without having to manage the page so much for their nodes ; since the 'Group of Groups' that you end up…

I think everything that could be monitored where I am, but is not; get's a bi-weekly or monthly test. *We'll know there is an issue when we fail the schedule test *I would much rather be able to work with some groups to get their devices on a watch list, rather than just a ping cycle from their desk.

Interesting. The ICP solutions have been building in the Small Business world. Turnkey is what everyone likes to hear. Pay 1 guy and it works, same guy comes for service as well...

How about the option to enable options via Drop Down Menu? I can fill in the choices, and they select where it goes, eliminates mis spellings or other errors when inputting data.

I thought we had back record keeping until a desktop tech told me over the phone, I just pinged IP's until I found one that didn't respond. They never do know if the IP's being "checked" are DHCP or Static. Our range starts as Static and then go to DHCP - so if they went too far down the line, oops.

Awesome Stories, thanks for the entertainment!

So maybe someone has a way to Order their Tabs out; maybe even combine tables in some cases so corresponding values can line up together?

Well, this is the first I've heard that it's NOT THE NETWORK! So I'll go with it. This is the very reason you need at least a few of every device in the same sandbox. If you can't even get an idea about what processes and instances are going on from one system to the next as they change layers through the OSI model you may…

Visualization all the way. Avatars for everyone! BYOD is expanding, but yes the health care industry has strict contingencies around cloud and remote services. Full encryption is required, and if the vendor meets standards we may outsource the service to them and then they are responsible for any issues. (Small things such…
