that explanation makes no sense to me, as does the whole aspect of common core. We called it The Basics or Building blocks and it was easy so that you could add to it making it complex and possibly difficult but still relying on the same basic process and procedures to get the answer. Learning the way all those old Rocket…

Awesome review as always.. and I add, when has Windows been perfect, or even everything you wanted?

I would have to agree with SAN, + Wireless. Some items I find useful, but for wireless I simply need more granular data that can be used for reporting. Currently only controllers are in as nodes, not WAPs.

Nice insight. I know this is valuable at the Border/edge.

As long as these are updated at they should be - all guess work is removed - even when needing to go back to whomever made the last modification. Nice inclusion!

Not sure how well that will look when full screened... get your Solarwinds tall boy coffee mug from the Thwack! Store and and shoot away with your high rez camera

Some things come natural and regardless of the initial ease or understanding, Humon generated problems need serious solutions.

Even with an IPAM solution you have to admin, and get technicians to input the requests... if no one uses the tool after an engineer sets up and builds out the structure your back to square one.

Email is a beautiful thing. If you BCC it to one of your gmail accounts it can easily be brought up... I'm sure Google would supply that email even without a subpoena.

All mine show the tab -- because I made it show on my customized 3750 view. Click customize page in the top right corner, then click on that tab and see if it is set to only show when you have switch stacks present, or some other condition like having the node in NCM. If you have a custom view for your 29xx or 37xx then…

To some degree I can see the adherence to the company's policy with your own device a start in the way of monitoring your activities. Having the ability to wipe a users personal device creates a bit of a catch 22. Where as the user may agree and understand that their device may be wiped, but how many have a proper back up…

I have experienced absolutely NONE! But this is only because I have never converted from Virtual to Physical, nor vise-versa.

Paper Tigers, that's a new one for me, lol Jfrazier. It never hurts to show that you are able to take on a 'project' or task like getting a cert and following it through. It also shows you at least knew the material well enough at one point in your life to pass the test.

Yes! Bump this up rschroeder, familyofcrowes, wluther

The greats just let it flow in the wind, who needs all that constraint. I mean, except for a FW.

Good write up, and I agree with this, though I think I am a little bit more old school when it comes to the idea's of tools. You can have all the tools in the world but not knowing how to use them leaves you impotent. In some cases I would prefer someone who can whittle and carve more than just some guy with a router…

I think it takes many aspects to have a well managed network. The same way all comes together to have a well managed restaurant. Proper Scope, Monitoring, Budgeting, Redundancy, Forecast... to name just a few of what you need. I am liking what I am reading so far, but as you tend to focus on what you think is important…

I almost got this last Christmas; but for the same price i got a normal version with a few more games... seeing it again now makes me want it even more...
