Thanks. Managed to get it doing what we wanted with just the one OID based on your input and changing the OID we were using. We ended up using one long OID that covers what we need, we found that similar OID's did contain data that we initially thought we were missing...but it was actually duplicated data. Thanks very much!

Well after much trial and error I found the problem. The SolarWInds alert testing tool does not work for alerts against groups. Unsure if it's fixed in a later version, but for this one it does not.
