We have that exact setup here and it works perfectly. I also find that having the Web Server on a different system significantly increases performance.

Unfortunately those alerts don't work in this situation because the node is being polled, there just isn't any data being collected. The "Alert me when a managed node has not been polled" alerts focus on the last poll time being stale which isn't the case here.

Is it still true that with LEM you are unable to store even raw logs if yo don't have a connector? If that is the case it seems that this puts LEM at a significant disadvantage when compared to other products on the market.
