I managed to complete this on my own. Didn't hear anything from support.

Well - seemingly I solved it by killing the NetPerfMonService.exe in Taskmanager.

It seems that the Transfer Log has been clogging up my system. Shrinking the database from 12GB to 2GB solved a lot. Now it seems that everything works - again. I also got the 8.5.1 which I am currently installing. Thanks to dev. @ Solarwinds.

Problem actually still remains - diagnostics stopping during execution as stated above.

DB uses 27,6GB of disk space. All tables are in total 25,3GB. Seems that TrapVarbinds consumes 12.8GB - sounds like a lot. We use IxChariot for all bandwidth and applications testing. It can be setup to simulate voip or RTP/IPTV, normal web-traffic, ftp etc. You can put the client in all servers, and run tests between any of them. It is very accurate and the preferred tool for the SEs at Cisco Systems, HP etc.…

I used the Database Manager to make this work. However, I am not able to make limitations based on login. But at least I got the Interface Details page up. The only glitch now is that the customer can access all nodes and interfaces, just by altering the url (since I have no account limitations).

My website has been working - though slowly - since upgrade to 8.5 (with hotfixes). All of a sudden I got this timeout. I have no special characters in name/password. Thanks for the advice. I just timed the web-site, and it takes 28 seconds (!) to display the page with all the nodes. Also NPM has gotten considerably slower after the latest releases.
