Something to try out, in Atlas if you select in the top left the start and go to network atlas settings under map defaults, if you tweak that setting, what do you get?
-
Are you evaluating the product or do you own it? If you own it, quickest path to resolution is going to be a support ticket.

linthomas1, I am very sorry, I just saw your comment above some in my Inbox and did a quick search and realized I never responded to you, I do apologize and just responded.

Also please realize that I know the WPM product fairly well as even though I just came back, I was here for 6.5 years when I was here the first time around on the product management team. We will get to beta and will likely have multiple beta releases due to the scope of the change. If you are super antsy about this, ping…

Team is heads down cranking on the next release and we will soon have a beta for the engine work we have been working on. Happy to chat on the phone or email, feel free to ping me at brandon.shopp@solarwinds.com
-
What if you edit/delete the image on the filesystem?
-
Yes we do intend to have a beta, more than likely multiple betas throughout the development cycle given the size of this change and amount of work. As we get closer I will share more info here in the community.
-
Of course, absolutely. Feel free to email me at brandon.shopp@solarwinds.com

You are correct, we did recently release WPM 2.2.2, but also be aware it did contain other items than you mentioned including addressing some issues for supporting TLS 1.2 and support for putting transactions on the new Orion Maps as well as adopting the latest version of the Orion Platform. One of the items referenced in…

You can unmanage elements in the Orion web console ad-hoc in web node management. Select the elements and in the drop down dialog select unmanage and specify the time frame. Also you can use this tool as well
-
No, they cannot be renamed today. If you could rename it what would you call it? Early on in the development process of 10.0 we showed some mock ups to customers to get some feedback on the tabs and the naming and pretty much all said network was good.
-
Hard to tell what is going on, I would recommend a support ticket to investigate further.
-
I only know of the ones discussed on this thread here
-
Can you double check all the services are running? This usually indicates the Orion Information Service is not running.
-
Is this data exposed via SNMP? If yes, you can use a Universal Device Poller
-
Instead of trying to do a feature to feature comparison, what are the use cases you are looking to support?
-
And you installed the integration module package that comes with NCM?
-
Typically not all IP's in IPAM are being monitored in NPM as well and for those devices not in NPM, it is good information to have on those boxes like MAC Address and machine type etc.
-
Are you using SNMPv3 to monitor any other devices/vendors or just Foundry?
-
Check out this doc we wrote for one of our blog posts here
-
So in the UnDP aplication, you have enabled it, it is associated to a device and you set the appropriate option in web display?
-
Can you put exactly what you did to get this error? Might be best to open a support ticket to investigate
-
Hard to say without seeing more data/diags. Try re-running the configuration wizard. Are you a customer or evaluating?
-
In the next release we are doing a lot of work to Map Maker and I beleive your use case will be possible then.
-
No not in advanced alerts, this is still only available in basic alerts.
-
Absolutely, we knew that was something we wanted to do even before we launched 1.0, but we had to draw the line for 1.0 somewhere. Needless to say, this is something on our short list.
-
I would like to dig into this some more. Why do you prefer to use system manager? Is there a problem with the web node management? We are moving more items over to the web as it allows us more flexability and now multiple people can access etc.
-
Typically we do not allow this as this has our SolarWinds version information and do not want people removing it per the EULA, is having a company disclaimer on the login page not good enough?
-
What version of ESX are they running? Is there any differences in version?
-
Talked with engineering on this and there are no other places – status settings is the only spot. As a basic test on our side to ensure there was a new bug we weren't aware of, we had a ticket created as pending (with counter off) and indeed, that ticket never counted as consuming active minutes in my report. Confirmed as…
