Currently the menu bars are images, so if you zoom in on an image, doesn't shock me it might blur a bit. How much are you zoomed in? If you zoom out, how does it look?
-
This is still an open enhancement
-
Jeff, I will send you a request form offline
-
This is an old post, but can you double check a setting on the Windows machine for me. For SNMP settings when you right click on SNMP Server in Services and go to Accept SNMP Request from, do you have it set to any or a specific IP Address? If a specific IP Address, is the Orion server IP listed?
-
Yes, the team is working on it now.
-
Will let others of course chime in, but yes we have had many customers upgrade and some who have reported some issues that engineering has worked with them on, but in general, no what I would deem as critical issues have been reported. Are you able to upgrade to an RC or do you have to wait for GA?
-
12.7.1 is not a beta, but a release candidate which we believe could be the final build as it has exited our testing, etc.
-
Thank you, nice catch, you are 100% correct and I fixed that typo.
-
Port mapping is a broad term, could you describe a little further what you would like to see. For example, see this post here for some items in NCM we are looking at here or are you looking for better native support in maps, for example, like in our LANSurveyor product today?
-
That is the one
-
Running Configuration Wizard and selecting ‘Database’ should fix it.
-
Many ways have been posted by the community and all of them good in their own right. Depends a lot on what you are looking for. You are right on Google Maps, their cost structure is prohibitive to us adopting it without charging for it, which we do not want to do. Many of the vendors you are referencing that have it are…
-
This is correct, we are working on getting these published to the web and documentation as well ASAP.
-
No, this is an open enhancement request
-
Have you tried creating a UnDP to pull this data?
-
Please contact Support and open a case on this issue and they can supply you with the hotifx
-
Rojon, Can you please open a support ticket and reference this thread and upload diagnostics so we can look into further.
-
Before reinstalling, please apply SP2 and apply the hotfix and see if that resolves your issue.
-
Also in the syslog and trap viewer you can use regex to filter on which items to action off of as well
-
Instead of get-next have your tried get table. I could be that value is not pollable as a single value, but only as a table
-
In the next release we are adding a feature to allow you to manually define dependencies. So Switch A has 25 servers connected off of it, if set, when Switch A goes down, it will show as down, but the 25 servers will show as unreachable and will not throw events and will not show as down in the product.

VegardAa, I am unclear as to why you are disappointed. Did you use the previous Map Maker application? I do agree there are things we can do to enhance the application, for example, Google maps integration. If you wish there was more functionality and that is why you are disappointed, that I can understand. Can you please…
-
You don't have to uninstall, but are you able to exclude the SolarWinds files from the scan engine? You can just remove the Orion directories from the scan.
-
Besides a custom field is there anything in common with the nodes? I am thinking what you recommended is the best route right now
-
What version are you on? What is described here was the old school way of doing alert suppression. With 10.1 we added a new method. See here and here for more data

I'd love to see an automated daemon form of the Switch Port Mapper from the Engineers Toolset integrated with this module to bring full drill-down intelligence of IP information within the network. It would run against the device database in NPM to gather information and pump into IPAM. I want ARP and CAM information…

This is the value we are getting back from SNMP. You can check with the hardware vendor to see if they have a bug in their SNMP implementation.
-
Our apologies on that, was not intended behavior. We will work to ensure this does not happen on future upgrades.
-
After further investigation from Dev, we still have this in our system to look to address in a future release, however, according to the vendor, this is not a large issue, which you can read more about here.
