If you move to 9.5 we moved this functionality in out of the box. If you had this on 9.1, you will need to download the resource GOB wrote on the thwack context exchange

Here you go The parameter after STOP and START need to be enclosed within double quotes (and not the ones Word replaces on you with). 1. Locate the Toolset IP Address Manager database on your Toolset server. Note: The Toolset IP Address Manager database has an .ipdb extension. 2. Copy the Toolset IP Address Manager…

There is a command line utility you can run to import subnets and IP's from Toolset, let me get the directions for you and re-post

Thank you for the feedback, if you look at the what we are working on post, starting in the next release we are dedicating additional time and features to advanced install and upgrade to start making it better
-
Have you attempted this already using the Advanced Alert app? If so, what were your results. I just looked quickly and you should be able to as custom properties are available.
-
Got it, I will log a defect on this and I am looking your original post too
-
Are all the services set to automatically start? I haven't heard or seen this from others. Quickest path to resolution may be a support ticket to look at your machine.
-
Are you logging on manually (the login gateway page), and supplying domain\username credentials? When that happens, the Orion server validates those creds with a “Logon” on the server. If you are using domain creds at the login page then they are considered anonymous, and so must be validated by the server.I’d suggest you…

Chad you are spot on in regards to groups and how those factor into limitations and this is for sure an area we need to improve in. We already have this marked down as something we want to enhance.
-
If you are an active customer with maintenance, the release candidate should be in your portal now
-
I will ping you offline to work on getting you squared away
-
Hmm this is odd, I see your confusion. I think we may be at a point where you need to open a support ticket to get with you in real time to walk through this to see what is going on. Is that possible?
-
Hmm interesting. Can you open a support case so we can gather some logs and other information on this to look into further please?
-
This is a known bug in 9.5, namely the wording "Web Engine is *testing purpose only"...
-
What ESX version?
-
Closing the loop on this thread, I have reach out to jsirrett offline to further discuss use case
-
JosephRLee, please open a support ticket so we can investigate what is going on to cause this behavior you are seeing
-
For native support in NPM like we have for VMWare, this is still on our list to add in a future release. It is not planned for the next release, this I can tell you for sure at this point. Many of our customers are able though to use APM to monitor this infrastructure.
-
Chris, I will ping you offline and give you the download to an older build.

This is a known bug, also happens to me. We have it in our system to fix in a future release. I would recommend downloading SQL Management Studio instead. Much more feature robust for managing your DB and you won't have this problem.
-
To my knowledge this is not possible today. You may be able to write an advanced SQL alert to do this, does anyone out there have one they have written?
-
We have a known issue around this which can be found in the release notes here Have you tried this Scheduled Tasks in Windows 2008 Server The Orion Report Scheduler uses the Windows Task Scheduler technology to execute scheduled tasks. These scheduled tasks are configured to run in user-based contexts, and, by default in…

Where is 10.0 installed? Upgrades install to the same location as previous version was.
-
So it's only on remote login you see an issue? Have you submitted the Network Atlas logs so we can look for any errors in there?
-
Typically after a node reboot the ifindex changes, so we have to poll it and remap it to the old ifindex to keep the data history. If you don't want to wait that long you can via the web UI manually do a rediscover and poll now in web node management to kick off a polling cycle. Also if they are critical interfaces you can…

Couple things. 1. if these are end user ports you want to monitor, there is a setting if you edit a port/s to specify them as unpluggable. This means if they go "down" they won't be marked as down, but as unplugged. This feature is meant for end user ports you want to monitor, but not get flooded with the alerts etc. 2.…

Any chance you can go to IE7?
