Yep, if you look above you will see I posted on this topic yesterday
-
Byron is correct, see here for more info
-
So have you seen our recent acquisition, see here This is one of the use cases we purchased Tek-Tools to solve. What we do in 9.5.1 and 10.0 is the same essentially.
-
Glad that worked, good feedback as well, I will log it into the system
-
Can you double check your rules and actions to make sure you don't have the same rule setup twice in the Setting section of the win32 Syslog viewer app.
-
Not at all. You can use the out of the box alert we ship with to tell you if a node is down. Once the dependencies are setup, before we fire alerts, we check the dependencies and if one exists, we put the children into an unreachable status so it does not match the node is down alert rule
-
How many source netflow interfaces are you monitoring and are you using the full SL250 on APM?
-
I am not sure, you could try to leave it on during setup and then turn it off afterwards.
-
I agree, was just throwing out some options. With 10.1.2 we support native AD integration. So if you support system support AD with pass-thru authentication that might work so the users credentials are passed through to Orion and the image does not display if they don't have proper credentials.
-
I just sent you a note to get your SWID so I can ensure you are on active maintenance and if so I can send you the RC bits.
-
On the web console if you go to Admin -> Web Console Settings, what is Status Rollup Mode set to?
-
#2 - ok, I will log this as a new enhancement request #5 - which DHCP vendor do you use? Would you be interested in seeing scopes and it's usage mainly? We would require credentials to get into DHCP device
-
What are the specs on the boxes?
-
You can do this now in 10.1. In the alert action for email there is a new variable called acknowledgealerturl I beleive
-
Did you look in the additional components section of the customer portal?
-
Regarding the IE issue? We are working on a fix for that, but in the meantime you can use Firefox and that works with no issues.
-
Danielle is correct, SolarWinds Orion Suite for Federal Government v4.0 is under evaluation in the Netherlands Scheme for Certification in the Area of IT Security (NSCIB). Unfortunately, Covid-19 has slowed down this assessment against newer versions, but it is actively under process right now.
-
Did you open a support ticket so we can get you upgraded?
-
Can you give me some more information. How are the 1131's setup, as an Autonomous or LWAPP?
-
As Denny said, Orion reports do not currently support graphs and charts
-
You can PM me via thwack
-
This has been noted and logged into our system
-
What version of code are you running on the switch, if an oder version, you may want to look at upgrading the switch. Different devices behave slightly differently and since we poll on an interval, this can happen. Devices give us the number of bytes that they send out. Now whether they up this count as they send out a…

Use case is completely understood. One of the things we are working on now is a combined syslog, traps, alerts and events view within the web console
-
This is an old thread, can you restate what you would like to see. Just have Syslog adn Traps in a single view?
-
I would recommend checking this out for some assistance in troubleshooting
-
Can you elaborate on this a little further. Did the card die? Wouldn't it be mis-leading to show it as down, that leads one to believe it still is operational? We don't know the status of it as the device no longer reports it, which is why we show unknown.
-
Nice catch on release notes, this should be fixed, had an extra character in the URL.
-
Even with SP4 you are seeing map load problems? What is your case?
-
What error are you getting? Does the configuration wizard ever load during the upgrade?
